      @lifeofjenz3241 Před 3 lety

      Hi Bella :) The closets don’t come with the curtains or the shoe rack, but it does come with two layers (two horizontal bars, one on top and one on bottom) as well as one shelf at the very top for your closet! Feel free to ask anything else you’re curious about :)

    Hi there! Thank you for posting this. I am going to be living in the H&S LLC this fall, and it has been difficult to find much of anything about this building. Also, what are the common spaces/kitchens like?

    • @lifeofjenz3241
      @lifeofjenz3241 Před 3 lety +2

      Thanks for watching! The common space on the first floor is pretty small because it’s next to the front desk (also just kinda hard to play games next to the front desk ofc), floor 2,3, and 4 have pretty decent sized rooms with probably 15 seating spaces each and a TV, I would guess 15-20 feet by 15-20 feet, each floor has a few study rooms, they vary in size but some are about 8 by 10 would be my guess, some are more like 12 by 12, also at the corners of the halls, there’s some open areas to study :) as for kitchens, all floors have them, you have a fridge and microwave in your room, but the kitchens have a stove and oven, and probably 10 seats of seating, pretty decently sized, laundry rooms are small but they don’t really need to be big, 3 dryers and 3 washers per floor! Hope this helps :):)

    hi I have a question! I'm moving into dogwood soon as an incoming freshman this fall; I'm looking into buying curtains for the closet and shower. What is the height from the floor of the dorm to the rod for the closet and the height from the bathroom floor to the rod for the shower? Thanks!

    • @lifeofjenz3241
      @lifeofjenz3241 Před 2 lety

      hey emma! so the closets don’t come with a rod, so you just have to buy a rod & curtain for it (I just got a standard curtain, but the height is pretty much up to you bc if your curtain is longer, you’ll just need to put your rod higher up, and if it’s shorter, just don’t put the rod as high (if that doesn’t make sense I can explain it again! for the shower, the rod provided is really thick, so make sure you get a curtain with big holes or hooks that can go over a wide rod (the rod is probably 1.5 inches in diameter if I were to guess!) and I’m honestly not sure about the height of the shower rod, but my guess would be 6.5 or 7 feet!

    Do you find it difficult to get food around campus since it's a bit farther away from the dining halls?

    • @lifeofjenz3241
      @lifeofjenz3241 Před 3 lety +1

      Not at all! Sometimes I was lazy so I just had a snack in my room, but it’s only about a 5 minute walk, so it’s not bad :) there’s a little hill but that’s about it haha

    • @lifeofjenz3241
      @lifeofjenz3241 Před 3 lety +1

      PCB is a 5 minute walk, Stokely dining (fresh food) is about 12 :)
