Great training. Thank you
Your Video Has Me Excited To Start DTF Printing
Hello, this video is what I needed. Thank you
Thank you for posting these videos! I've just learned about DTF printers about two days ago. I used to have a small shirt business that prints heat pressed vinyl and back then I was really wishing for a DTG printer (which costs a fortune!). Then I found a DTF seller here in my country and now I'm excited to revive the business again once I decide to purchase the printer. Thank God I found your channel for these tutorials!
Hey RM Tagasa,
You are so very welcome😊 I’m excited for your new journey reviving your business. 🎉Don’t be a stranger, reach out if you have any questions. Most importantly, keep me updated on your journey.
Thanks again.
💕Claudia
Thanks for sharing love your energy!
Hey,
You are very welcome. Thank you for taking time to watch my video.💕
I have been watching several channels learning and trying to make a decision and you have definitely helped my thought process. I love the thoroughness of how you teach❤️
Hey Patricia,
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to watch my video. 💕
Claudia
Great tutorial. Thank you for the thorough explanation.
Thank you so much for .💕💕💕
Cool how the excess white around the trees and in the horizontal lines are cleaned up with the 2nd heat press application. So this is a lot like the 2-step transfers used by color laser dye sublimation.
Thank you for this video! I’ve been looking and haven’t found one as detailed.
Thank you for watching and finding value💕💕💕
Thank you for sharing your craft
Absolutely💕💕💕
You’re an awesome instructor. Thanks for the concise, thorough instructions. I’m on a quest to figuring out which is best technique to use: DTG, DTF, or ScreenPrinting. I’m learning a lot and will definitely subscribe. Keep up the awesome work!
Hello,
Thanks for the kind words.
I completely understand doing the research to figure out which technique will work best for your business. Good luck on your quest.
Thanks again.💕
Claudia
Nice video!
Thank you so much! I see what are doing wrong with my shirts. The curing stage....I wasn't melting it completely. Thank you. I subscribe to your channel for helpful tips.

Hey if you can need some help in picking the right equipment for DTF me and my wife don't have a clue we still doin vinyl cut but want get into DTF
Also compliment here .. Your voice is not annoying! All videos I ever watch on youtube their voices are so annoying. Not you girl! Your voice is very soothing I think 😌
Oh thanks Samantha 😃
Great content there 👋 💕
Thank you so much for taking time to watch my video. I appreciate your kind words.
Claudia
Good info keep pushing those videos
Thanks so much for taking time to watch my videos. I surely will😊
You are DEFINITELY an amazing instructor for sure!!! When you find someone that's precise, detailed & doesn't gab & gab & gaaaaaab....you've found a jewel!!!! Keep up the great work!
Oh wow thank you Mindy💕💕💕
I wish I would have found this before i bought an eco solvent printer. The print looks so much better
TFS!!!😂Thanks! Informative!❤
Hey,
Thank you so much for taking time to watch my video, and for the kind words. I’m glad you found it informative.
Thank u!
💕💕💕
Another awesome video! Thank you! I was wondering if you could use the same convection oven for sublimation and DTF. You answered my question! 🙏🏽
Yayyyyy I am so glad you are getting useful information from my video. Thank you so much.😀
How long / quickly after printing do you have to put the rubberized powder on the print?
Hello.
Thank you for sharing. However, are you able to make a video on how to convert a printer to DTF? I’m new to DTF and need some provided information on how to set it up before purchasing. That will help out a lot! Thank you! Keep sharing your gems 💎
Tnx for this video
You are very welcome.💕💕💕
Okay love it and now going to do this. What program are you using to print? So when you print, you place the powder, you don't have to cut or weed anything off before adding the powder? I am so sold on this. Cause everyone wants darker colors.
We have been printing DTF For a few months now. But we have been so busy that we have not stopped to actually calculate The cost of each transfer. That is of course our cost. I can’t tell you how many transfers we have actually printed mostly for shirts in our boutique! And I’m wondering if you have any idea. Of course this varies based on what you purchase, and how much ink you are printing with etc. But looking for a roundabout number from someone who is actually been keeping track. This time around I will be keeping track of exactly how many we get out of are in this time.
Is DTF more durable shirt that sublimating or printable vinyl. ? I have inkjet and sublimation printers just wondering if this method will the shirts be more durable
Hi, What ICC profile are you using to get those colors?
Can you share the settings you choose for The oven you use?
Where can I get a dtf printer I’m new to the t shirt making business
Can you use any software to print? How do you get it to print color first then white
Do you have a video like this for 16 oz libby cups frosted and clear? Same process just for glass cups
is it have to wait those ink completely dry then put powder on the DTF paper ?
What software do I need to have to create images?
Hello I need help with what software to print my pictures on ?? if you could please help me. That’ll be appreciate it thank you. I love your videos. Keep doing what you do.
good question. do u mirror the image b4 or not
Loving your videos. Thank you so much. Please look into adjusting your volume louder.
Thank you so much for taking time to watch my videos. I truly appreciate you.
I typically scale my volume down, after I received a comment saying it was too loud. When I get excited my voice can really carry.
I’ll make an adjustment in the next video, let me know if you notice a difference.
I appreciate you.
Claudia
@@PinksTeesandThings I guess you can't please us all 😊. Thanks so much for even considering making an adjustment.
Maybe I can find a nice middle ground.💕
What printer did you convert for dtf
Which printer are you using and which RIP software
I have the Same oven can you please give me your exact settings for dtf 🙏🏾 thank you
Honestly how long will the print stay on the garment if you use cotton? I heard on another channel that DTF do not print white and you have to use vinyl as the base, please explain. Thank you very much
Where do you buy your films and inks from if you don’t mind to share
would like to know what powder you used?
what printer are you using?
Hi! I’m new to DTF, just modified an Epson XP-15000. I did a test yerterday with a white sheet of paper, and the white layer and color layer print on 2 different sheet, do you know why?? Is there a setting I didn’t do?? Thank you so much your videos help me a lot!
I thought the epson 15000 was a sublimation printer? Do I sub or do I dtf?
What is the powder called
I’m looking into getting into the business and was wondering your thoughts on DTF being the source of production for a new comer? Seems like the way to go but also see a lot about the headache of DTF.
Also, is there a grainy feel to the images and how do they hold up in a wash?
Great videos, I’ll be tuning in!
Hello Terrance,
Thank you for taking time to watch my video. I will be answering this question in my next video.
Stay tuned.
Claudia
Hi! thank you so much for taking your time enlightening about this printer, my question is what happens if you are giving it 2 days in between printing? For example my sublimation printer I don't print with it everyday sometimes 2 to 3 days resting before I print again
Hey!
Thank you for taking time to watch my video. I just posted a new video today that answers this question specifically.
Hope that helps.
Claudia
@@PinksTeesandThings thank you so much sis 💗
You are very welcome💕
What printer do you have? Looking to buy one
This is a silly question, but I'm VERY new to this. Can DTF be applied to mugs/tumblers as well? I really love everything that DTF has to offer, but I also make tumblers and have been looking into sublimation for that exact reason. I realize that sublimation is very limited on what materials you can use though so I'm trying to figure out my best option would be.
Hi there! I have worked in apparel for 10 years now, mainly specializing in silk screen and graphic design. I personally would not use DTG or DTF for anything other than apparel items. The glue needed to bind holds best when it has shirt fibers to press into. You may like to look into a cylindrical screen print press or doing vinyl instead. Hope this helps!
Do you use your direct to film for single colored shirts as well? Just like a basic white letter shirt?
I surely do 💕💕💕
Love your videos, would you please turn the recording volume louder. It's so low on this video. Thank you very much
👀
I have that same heat press have you problems with it burning your transfers?
Hey there,
Thanks for taking time to watch my video. No I haven’t had any issues with my heat press burning any of the transfers I use.
Have you check the recommended temps for the transfers you are using?
Claudia
Just bought a printer, Thank you for this vid.
Question:
Our logos that we get have thin lines and sometimes I have noticed that they break off or stretch and crack. Why do you think this is happening or what can I do to prevent it?
Hey Carlos,
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. I'm glad you enjoyed my video.
Are you using a DTF to print them?
Sometimes with print methods such as DTF, white toner transfers, screen print transfers, you to pay attention to the width of your lines. It could be solved with something as simple as adding a stroke or increasing the width of your letters. Typically you have to be around 1-1.5pts.
However, I would need a little more info to give you a more specific answer.
Hope that helps, if not, please feel free to message me.
Claudia
I have searched for 1 week on almost all platforms for THIS video
Yesss… so glad you found something that helps.💕💕💕
I’m not sure if you said it, but what is the exact name of the printer if you don’t mind me asking
Hi there. Can you please tell me what setting your convection oven is on when you cure?
I also want to know this, I have the same oven and would like to know her settings 😊
The main thing you left out is, what kind of printer are you using to print the transfers?
Hello,
Thanks for checking out the video. However,
Check out my first video in the series. That’s where all of the details about the printer is located.
What printer are you using in this video?
Are you using a regular inkjet printer or a dtf printer? Can you put what kind of film to purchase and also the powder? Thank you! Very informative
I want to know the same thing
@@customizehere7724 I ended up buying a dtf starter kit on Amazon that’s my next project lol
Hey, may be a dumb question but I just want to know!
Can you use the same DTF print for multiple garmets? Or after it has been treated and pressed once then the paper cannot be used again? Thanks!
Hey there,
This is not a dumb question at all. 🙂
Unfortunately, the film is not reusable. 💕💕💕
I’m so glad I found your videos! How does the print feel??
Hey Kierra,
Thank you so much for taking time out to watch my video. I will be answering this question in my very next video, with a comparison to other print techniques.
Claudia
@@PinksTeesandThings great thank you. I look forward to it!
can you tell me what settings you used to use your oster oven on for your dtf film
Hello,
Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact measurements I used on the Oster. That's probably because I had a hard time maintaining temps after a while. which led me to the conveyor dryer. 😬
What kind of printer is it
How long do you let your ink dry before applying the powder?
Hello,
I typically powder my transfers immediately after printing.
I have one question plz do you have to press right way after it has been cured or can you sit aside and press later on
Hey Hayley,
Thank you for taking time to watch my video.
To answer your question, you do not have to press right away. However, I do recommend storing them in a specific area. I typically store my transfers in resealable storage bags.
Hope that helps.
Claudia
They way you line up your 😂 shirts sure never screen printed before?( great video)
Heyyyyy🤣🤣🤣
This is amazing!!!! So what made you get into making shirts?
Thank you Deanna,
I truly appreciate you for taking time to watch my videos.💕 I started with water bottles and tumblers, and slowly made the transition to shirts. It started with making my own shirts and snowballed from there.
@@PinksTeesandThings y’all are doing an amazing job!
Which powder do you like best? I received the same printer the other day.
Hey,
First, congrats on the new printer. 🎉 secondly, I really like the black rubberized, but really it depends on the types of material I’m pressing on.
What have you found to be one of your favorites thus far?
Claudia
@@PinksTeesandThings thank you! I’m still setting my printer 😩. I didn’t know which color powder works best.
Can I use a iron if I do not have a heat press
Hello,
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend an iron to apply transfers.
What is the difference between DTF and a white toner printer?
Hi Jeff, I’m hoping to film a video on this very subject.
What is the average time required to print a 12X12 inch picture
Hey there,
It typically takes no longer than 5 minutes, from selecting print to completion.
Hope that helps.
Claudia
what printer?
Does the image feel like an iron on or HTV?
Hey there,
I will be answering your question in one of my next videos. Stay tuned.💕💕💕

What the name of the powdered you used ?
Hello, it's just dtf powder adhesive.💕💕💕
Dtf printer different than sublimation printer?
Yes, it surely is.
What size is your convention oven?
Hey YaShica,
Thank you so much for taking time out to watch my video.
Stay tuned I’ll be answering this question in my next video.
Claudia
Great video!
So I ordered prints off etsy, his instructions say Hot peel.. what do you think I should do? Why would it be different?
His account was shut down and I tried to contact him lol so I came to youtub 🥰
Hey Samantha,
It really depends on the film used that can make transfers either hot peel or cold peel.
Do you have a transfer to spare? If so, try it using his instructions and see if you are able to peel the transfer while it’s hot.
If not, let the transfer cool and see what the peel feel likes then.
Let me know how it comes out. 🙂
I tried it! I did hot peel and didnt work but I didnt do enough pressure! After I fixed the pressure it worked perfectly! Thank you for your video!
Hey. Can I ask you what software and ink you use?
Hey,
I’m using AcroRIP 9.0 and the ink that came with the bundle I purchased.
Hopefully this helps.💕
Claudia
I was asking. I have my own ink powder and film. And I sell cadlink. If you need anything please let me know. Thx. Facebook and CZcams big boi prints
Oh, thanks for the info. I will be sure to check you out. 💕
What printer brand to use dtf?
I use converted Epson printers 💕💕💕
What software do I need to get
Hi Lisa,
You need an Rip software. Two of the most popular are AcroRip and Cadlink.
Hope that helps. Fell free to message me with any other questions.🙂
