Well I'm always at home indoors using only technology so 4 me its relatable in some way but still yet differently cuz I'm not practicing 4 anything but I truelly am dissconected from the outside world and social life on a daily bases there's actually believe it or not people like me and others besides just kpop idols alone where we are mostly dissconected from the outside world not cuz of what idols are doing but cuz we are mostly shutins and stuck with technology that we mostly don't socialize with other humans in person nor we head out in nature to see the actual real word well at least that's what its like for me after being so out of touch with the outside world sometimes I literally and honestly forget how to communicate with people or how to behave when I actually go outside or am outside temporarily like when i have to go some where like smelling and seeing people sense in like what feels forever makes me feel weird and also makes me having to reconnect to these weird things and remember why I have to reconnect with such a strange world outside of my indoors
I think that's why it's so important to have a group with people in it who you like and become friends with even consider them as your family. So you don't have to go through your day/practice/etc alone.
At the end of my day/work I got to do something with my friends or family. If your at work all day, you have to have your friends/family at your work or you can't handle it long.
I can actually relate. I did something inspired by this. With school, school work, self dance practice, learning korean, and singing, I actually had no time to talk to my friends and they thought I was ignoring them. It’s super hard.

Imagine an Idol having this kind of daily life for years just to debut, and when they debut they just recieved a lot of hatred...conclusion being an kpop idol is no joke
but once you become a real kpop star, your schedule is even busier than your trainee days as a kpop star
Blackpink, one of the biggest groups, have certain periods of time where they do NOTHING, like they bingewatch series (they have admitted watching super long series all at once and i can't even do that living my normal life) or they explictly said how they are so bored, well, mostly because they are kept in the dungeon for a long time, but probably for most groups who aren't that famous and have a big gap between comebacks they just have period of times where they do nothing but when they start preparing for comebacks and promotions that does seems exhausting

In terms of making money and raising the bar, there could be a bratty American heartthrob who can't sing but looks good that was signed-up by His rich dad into an entertainment company for like a year that makes millions more than A whole entertainment company in Korea, the moral reasons are not considered in this conversation because it is way more-diverse and divergent to how Americans would think an artist is.
