I'M FINALLY HOME! I can listen to it in detail now! Yay! And damn, I gotta say, you keep landing. Every. Single. Release. If this already hasn't been established about me, I'm a sucker for piano, so when I heard the intro to Dark Tides, I knew I was in for a treat! As others have already noticed, you went for the underwater vibe, which I feel you hit right on the head. It gives that rolling-with-the-waves feel, while staying mysterious and dark. I love how the bass is deep - deep, like a seafloor trench? DAMN IT I LOVE PIANO. It might be the wonderful use of drums in the drop, but I got some Place On Fire hints too, as well as a bit of Unveil (and maybe Aura)? Whether it's intentional or not, I like how you have an established style enough that we can notice these little nuances in places. The first drop is wonderful on it's own. Slow, deep (like Slow Down) and just plain wonderful. I've got no words for this one man, just... great job! Following the drop, you get this wonderful tone change at 1:43 that I just *love*. It goes from this pulsing, lonesome drum and bass to this onslaught of organized adrenaline that transforms beautifully. It goes from a bottom feeder scrounging on scraps in a secluded hole, to a dangerous chase between prey and predator. The staccato piano at 1:55 feels like a heart racing to get away, and I just fuckin' love it, dude. Easily my favorite part, followed closely by the piano opener and closer. Then there's the second drop. Goddamnit man, everything that made the first drop solid made this second one absolutely amazing. Seep pulses and vibrations just... rack my soul. It pierces you like a jellyfish sting, shocking you, then it ends. And then you're ambushed by the wonderful piano once again, a blackberry atop this navy blue cake. Wonderful job, Creo. Cheers again from Minnesota!
Holy heck Creo! This one has a chill and mysterious aura to it. Eventually it picks up and chucks mysterious outta there and becomes very chill. Then it becomes mysterious and then.. the drop. more chill. just chill. Then it goes silent..... then mysterious. and the song is over. Boy oh boy, where do I start with this one? I absolutely adore the energy this song has. It has a feeling of lurking dangers, which is aided by the title providing a deep-aquatic atmosphere. Despite that, it is offset by an equal mix of optimism that makes it feel more lighthearted than dark. The drops sound awesome, the mix of electronic and vocals makes it one of your more unique pieces. The lack of instruments (From what I can tell, at least. You know how bad I am with recognizing sounds) [EDIT: Just saw on Twitter that there are bells here. Doesn’t change my opinions at all, just saying I recognize that I am wrong here] is offset beautifully by the guitar that comes in just before the second drop This song sounds a fair bit like a song I really liked a couple years ago. The atmosphere, vocals, everything. It was a nice hint of nostalgia, which I sorely needed because a lot has changed for me lately. Overall, I really enjoy this song. I can’t notice any major flaws, aside from the fact that the drops feel like they drag on for a tad too long. There is enough progression within the drops to make this a non-issue though, so I don’t mind it at all! Definitely going to be happy to add this one to my library, it is very unique from your other songs and will always serve as a nice break from the upbeat nature of a lot of your songs. EDIT: Whoops, I forgot to mention the art! This is my new favorite art of yours by a mile. The sphere itself is unique, but the attention to detail with the animation makes it so much better. The way the “Stingers” move (Calling them such as everybody seems to agree that this looks like a jellyfish), the way the sphere pulsates with the beat, the way the particles floating around move faster when the sphere pulses, and how the sphere revolves slowly makes it so entertaining to watch. It’s at times like these that I wish iPhones and Windows computers fully supported animated wallpapers, because I don’t think I’d ever change it from this
yeah I noticed it too, like, at first I don't like it, then I listen to it again and I start noticing all the extra little things I didn't before, and it gradually gets better the more I listen, its so strange and surreal, does anyone else actually experience this or am I just alone on this one? I know this comment is weirdly personal but I thought you’d wanna know that your music does have a wonderful emotional impact.
Not a pianist but a sucker for the piano, and I totally agree with adding piano into songs. Especially with EDM, it somewhat grounds the song into reality, as in “yes, this is a real thing”. Not saying that songs *need* piano to work or feel correct, but it just adds a sense of... *order* to many songs. That is, if it’s implemented correctly, such as this song. I think you’d love Unveil, if you haven’t listened to it already. It’s primarily orchestral, for the most part, however you can absolutely feel the Creo during it all.
The level of complexity in your music never fails to amaze me. I can listen to the same song 100 times and there's always something new, like a different sound or a certain rhythm, that I didn't notice before. Keep up the good work
I'm a classical guitarist, I can appreciate good music, and from everything I've heard to date, this song is in my top 1. I just can't feel it listening to another song, for me you are one of the best composers of today, and manages to be original without appealing to the weird. Keep up the great work, Creo!
i may be horrifically late, but oh my goodness is this song incredible it's been a while since i've felt chills listening to a song, but your songs are the exact ones that give me them. being able to be surrounded by the dark with nothing illuminating the room but the screen and the atmospheric image on it is just... indescribable. there's a certain feeling i get when i listen to this that doesn't compare to the other songs. its magical, distant, like a memory i feel like i've had but never remembered. thank you for blessing my ears. please, don't stop doing what you do.
How can people actually dislike your music? Your style is one of the most unique things i've seen out of any artist. I figured out about your music from Geometry Dash, back when Black Blizzard was revealed, and since, I've been listening to your music. I absolutely LOVE your style. Keep up the good work.
I like how calm this one is compared to a lot of others. And everything fits, the sphere, the light piercing through the top of the picture as if it's the surface of the ocean, everything's just, perfect
I recently subscribed, and I got VERY excited when I saw this. I’m not gonna lie, I did find you through geometry dash, but I listened to more and more of your music on CZcams, and I’m baffled. Your music is already so different, each track different from the other, yet it has the same Creo vibe. And they are all REALLY good. I really need to sleep- btw my sister says that your that saxophone guy now so ye also she says the drop of sphere kinda sounds like the icarly theme song so that’s kinda cool
Such a beautiful piece!... I especially like the choir and deep bass. There was some syncopation in there that sent chills down my spine :D Can I also just say that the quick moments where you took everything away were incredible and made me realize how much sound and space you were taking up with your music. Continue to take up space, Creo; continue to spread your inspiring frequencies across the globe.
I have to say, the way you mix instruments and electronic sounds is amazing. Each and every one has their own mood and feeling to them, and i want to applaud you on that. Keep up the great work and i hope you stay safe and well. :)
Creos 56th track gets a ratting of: 9/10 Really good song start and 1st drop is really good and not to mention that calm part is gold actually and it leads to diamond that part before the drop is absolutely incredible and the 2nd drop is awsome aswell! Anyway, good job creo! Btw im giving this song the best calm song award
All the other songs are good, but this one sticks out, its definitely the best one you've made so far, this one feels like it was specifically made for something or that it tells a story, I can see this being a commission for an animation or scene in a movie it just flows so well GOD I love it
I think this is probably still my favourite Creo song, though a lot of the new ones are also really good. It's one of those songs that just grows and grows on you. When the song first came out I wasn't too sure about it but after listening to it a few more times I started to really like this and according to Spotify this is my most listened-to Creo song.
This song is a masterclass in music, the atmosphere is perfect, it's incredibly satisfying to listen to, everything just flows together so well, the art always amazes me, I've only known about your music for about 6 months now but my god have I fallen in love with it, you just have raw talent which cannot be matched
Despite the fact that this song was released during lockdown, it somehow makes me think of better times... Feels like an absolute nostalgia trip even though its not quite 2 years old yet
I love the aesthetic you set with the jellyfish and the background, combined with the song it makes me feel like I'm underwater. You are one of my favorite artists.
Honestly, Creo, you never fail to impress. You always try a different style with your songs and execute them perfectly every single time. Mad respect. This one might be my new favorite. I love how it starts off with like a mysterious forest/cave kind of vibe, and before the second drop (when the saxophone comes in), with the amazing piano riff in the background, it has like a city vibe to it, which i absolutely love. I’m gonna celebrate the day this song reaches 1 million views
It’s already at 990k and it seems to be growing pretty quickly. And It deserves to, your music is great, Creo!
Aw man, I missed it because I was just listening to Rock Thing lol
I like how calm this one is compared to a lot of others. And everything fits, the sphere, the light piercing through the top of the picture as if it's the surface of the ocean, everything's just, perfect
Me when creo uploads:
Alright everybody, *stay calm!*
*I SAID STAY CALM*
I would have liked the comment, but it's a stolen meme
Nebulum how is it stolen, it’s an office meme
Schrödinger brought me here. I’m glad he did.

I really need to sleep-
btw my sister says that your that saxophone guy now so ye
also she says the drop of sphere kinda sounds like the icarly theme song so that’s kinda cool
The icarly thing is actually a fact

Any time is see a creo song now I dont even listen it just goes to my music playlist
Such a beautiful piece!... I especially like the choir and deep bass. There was some syncopation in there that sent chills down my spine :D Can I also just say that the quick moments where you took everything away were incredible and made me realize how much sound and space you were taking up with your music. Continue to take up space, Creo; continue to spread your inspiring frequencies across the globe.
oh my gosh he loved my c-commet :o
Literally every time I replay any of Creo's songs, it gets better
I have to say, the way you mix instruments and electronic sounds is amazing. Each and every one has their own mood and feeling to them, and i want to applaud you on that.
Keep up the great work and i hope you stay safe and well. :)
I honestly have no idea how to describe this. The song more than amazing and this might be my favourite artwork you've made. Thank you Creo :)
This would be the perfect song for a impossible level in a square game

0 dislikes, Creo has the best community :)
Sadly it has 10 dislikes now :(
All the other songs are good, but this one sticks out, its definitely the best one you've made so far, this one feels like it was specifically made for something or that it tells a story, I can see this being a commission for an animation or scene in a movie it just flows so well GOD I love it
I think this is probably still my favourite Creo song, though a lot of the new ones are also really good.
This is my favorite song from creo
this stuff is so unique it needs its own genre
its called creo
I love the aesthetic you set with the jellyfish and the background, combined with the song it makes me feel like I'm underwater. You are one of my favorite artists.
You always make different types of music and they are all good it its unbelievable
The middle guitar part scares me, because of how chill and funky, it's perfect and is what i needed
Best creo part in a song
Honestly, Creo, you never fail to impress. You always try a different style with your songs and execute them perfectly every single time. Mad respect. This one might be my new favorite. I love how it starts off with like a mysterious forest/cave kind of vibe, and before the second drop (when the saxophone comes in), with the amazing piano riff in the background, it has like a city vibe to it, which i absolutely love.
Keep up the great work, Creo.
Love you, man. 👍

This is "Ooh!" but also "Aah!". It's "Fwohm" with just enough "Bzzz". And I LOVE IT!
The only chill drop that creo makes out of all of his songs.
One of my new favoites from you!
