  • The much talked about "free" heathcare in Canada. In conversation with Deepashree & Arko, who have stayed in Canada for over 2 years - broke a toe and delivered a baby here - so super qualified to talk about the state of healthcare in the country - the good & the bad!

We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this CZcams channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! All we are doing in these ebooks is sharing our experience of applying for PR ourselves / structuring and pointing you in the right direction via various different resources that are available on IRCC's official website. The CZcams channel will compliment the e-book and add some personality and entertainment to the entire process :-)
Volume 1: Step by step express entry process from know nothing about immigration all the way to getting an invitation to apply (ECA, IELTS etc). Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/
Volume 2: Post ITA express entry process - documentation, samples, POF, Proof of work, medical, biometrics all the way to getting a stamped passport ;-) Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/
Volume 3: Alternate ways of moving to canada | Provincial Nominee program - OINP, AINP, MPNP, NSNP, SINP, RNIP and more. Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/
Save your money, and if you find these e-books useful, do not forget to buy us a coffee when you reach Canada :-)

This interview is very soft and this couple had luckily had a good experience. Else there are tons of stories where you won't get to see a doctor, forget about getting a second opinion. This system is good who could not access expensive private health care in their home country as everyone gets the same health care here in spite of their earnings.

Hi Potato talkies this video doesn't show the true side of Canadian Healthcare.. its free definitely but wait is too long... when you go to emergency you have to wait for hours before doctor would see you and its not a good experience to see your loved one crying in pain, he was lucky that he had swollen toe only... I wish that we never have to see emergency ... then you would have to wait for months to get appointment with a specialist and till then keep taking pain killer. Some of my friends are so fed with wait that they decided to get treatment when they go to India.. not trying to be negative but pls show complete reality as lot of people get wrong idea about it and would come to know when they come in Canada..

I have a quick question regarding pcc. I stayed at 3 different addresses. So i got pcc for all of those addresses. However, there's another address mentioned in 3 of my documents (bank statement, salary slips, marriage cert) but i didn't live there, my parents did while i lived with my aunt. I got pcc for my aunt's address. So should I raise a webform and explain the situation as i didnt mention it in LOE?

If you have a broken arm, leg or bone the healthcare is HELL! Plus, all these people have PR, uske baad bhi the baby part is good and rest is just okay. I don't think they've had any friends who told them about a real injury because you'd be sitting for hours at a stretch after filling a form. I'm an international student and the scenario is very different. I wish you don't have to experience the healthcare system in Canada. If you're having kids then it's an entirely different ball game.

Hi guys i am not comparing Canadian healthcare system with India because there is NO COMPARISON at all but still want's to share my experience. We have been blessed with a baby girl on 3rd Aug 2020 which is our second baby. She was 34 weeks and third day of her age when she came into our life's but according to doctors she was a premature baby and she was also facing breathing issues which wasn't much but at the time of covid one can't take chances and no one ever takes any kind of chances when it comes to babies. so same night we had to admit her in NICU which was 16 Kms away from the hospital she was born in and people from delhi are very much familiar to traffic jams and system even at the time of pandemic there was hell out of jams after every 5 kms and top of it we had to leave our house for 34 days on 5th aug because of covid 19 cases in opposite to our house and we had to move 7 kms away from our house and hospital's. Though i got my wife and daughter admitted into the best hospital and NICU according to me but still i was not happy with the services according to the money i was spending. I was like stuck with doctors and there new ways to charge more and more money from patients family. The only reason i am sharing this so people can know the difference and try to move themselves to better system. As Arko told about someone whose baby was in Nicu for 3 months i hope their family is safe and healthy. So from 3rd aug to 12 th aug 2020 i had been charged 5.6 lakhs by 2 hospitals and medical services wasn't satisfactory at all but with almighty's blessings our daughter is better now and we are back to our house and i wish no one ever had to go through hard time specially in pandemic. Stay safe guys rab raakha ... Sarbat da bhalla

Should have a checkup once in 4 months.
I need to get my blood test done and meet the specialized doctor once in 4 months.
I'm planning to do MBA in canda after having 2 or 3 years work experience from India
May i know is it easy to get consulted from a specialized doctor?

Depends on your situation and urgency. It’s not easy to get it if it’s not urgent.

@@monikabadhan2422 hey, I am sorry if you feel like that. Not my intention. Just that we did mention in our video that you should try to pick an old car - Toyota or hyundai is best because of the low cost of insurance and maintainance. Max budget should be $15000 , 50K kms and not older than 5 years... not sure if this helps
