It spoke to me as a child, and helped me realize that I should never stop dreaming. My other favorite song is "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from Lilo and Stitch because it is so much fun, and has me dreaming of visiting Hawaii!
My favorite song from Disney is "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins. It was actually the first song I ever learned on the piano. The Sherman Brothers composed most of the classic Disney songs that we all know and love. Another reason that I love "Feed the Birds" that I found out a couple years ago was that it was also Walt Disney's favorite song. He would let the Sherman Brothers play it for him all the time. He would tell them "Play me that bird lady song." Love having something in common with the master of dreams and wishes 🥰

We went to Disneyland recently and the fireworks and Fantasmic make me enjoy it so much more. The second, if it is considered a Disney song, is Cars’ “Shboom”. I play it when I’m driving or just vibing with friends or family. The Cars land sunset ceremony also make this song so much better.

Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty hold a special place for me. When I was a kid there was only one way to see a Disney movie and that was to go to a movie theater. When Sleeping Beauty came out every little girl my age wanted to see it. I went to 11 birthday parties where a group of little girls all went to see it. Disney was really about dreaming, imagination and you would think anything possible. A terrific childhood memory.

I read something about how depression was compared to drowning and how you see everyone around you breathing while you're struggling. I then decided that I'd be like a mermaid and be able to breathe underwater and could finally belong somewhere. Now when I'm having a particularly rough time I play at least the song( if not the movie) and think of mermaids 🧜♀️

Favorite song from my all-time favorite movie..."Let's Get Together" from the Original Parent Trap (1961) for so many reasons! I was a huge follower of Hayley Mills' career and wanted parents like the beautifully smart Maureen O'Hara and the ruggedly handsome Brian Keith. This was the very first movie I remember falling in love with and will still watch at any given time. It makes me laugh, it makes me cry and I end with an all-around wonderful feeling. I think that is what Walt Disney wanted us to experience watching any of his movies, live or animated. Don't get me wrong, I love and enjoy all of the wonderfully animated Disney/Pixar movies, but I have a great fondness for the classic live-action films, some even with a little animation thrown in. From So Dear to My Heart (1948) to Treasure Island (1950) to Old Yeller (1957) to Swiss Family Robinson (1960) to Mary Poppins (1964) and so on, this was and still is great entertainment to me!

"You'll Be in My Heart" is my favorite song. My mom used to sing it to me when I was a baby. She said she would walk around rocking me singing the song to put me asleep. But a close second would have to be the whole Lilo and Stitch album. My family has a boat and everytime we take the boat out and we leave the marina, we play "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride".
My 2 yr old just went crazy seeing Janelle's Small World ears. She has them as well and loves them. It's definitely a toss up between Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride from Lilo and Stitch and How Far I'll go from Moana. Love them both 💜

I love, "When You Wish Upon A Star." It was also the theme for the pandemic baby shower I held for my brother and sister-in-law. They had been trying to get pregnant for many years, with a few miscarriages during those years, and even tried fertility treatments. One day, they wished upon a star and now they have a toddler running around. So, "When You Wish Upon a Star" is close and dear to my heart. Thank you again for all you guys do and for sharing. I live vicariously through y'all.
“Arabian Nights” from Aladdin is my absolute favorite! It sets the tone for such an iconic movie. It’s got movement and flair to it. It’s one of the best songs to sing dramatically! If you haven’t given it a try, definitely do!

I know it is a bit morbid by my favorite song is "The next right thing" from Frozen 2. The fact that they put the feeling of grief, of what it is like into a song so perfectly is just amazing. It hurts, it's hard, and the song is not pretty, just like how Grief feels. And how even though it is hard to go through, all you need to do is take little steps. Don't think about what is in the future, just little steps of getting up, and taking that next step and just breathing helps you through it. It makes me cry but it is so beautifully represented in this song.

Don't get me wrong, I love and enjoy all of the wonderfully animated Disney/Pixar movies, but I have a great fondness for the classic live-action films, some even with a little animation thrown in. From So Dear to My Heart (1948) to Treasure Island (1950) to Old Yeller (1957) to Swiss Family Robinson (1960) to Mary Poppins (1964) and so on, this was and still is great entertainment to me!
So many favorite songs to choose and I can’t pick just one, so I’ll just say “A Whole New World” is one of my top favorites! Thank you for taking us along with you in your journeys! Love you guys! 🥰
Colors of the wind because it has such a gorgeous message and sound that still holds up today
"You'll Be in My Heart" is my favorite song. My mom used to sing it to me when I was a baby. She said she would walk around rocking me singing the song to put me asleep. But a close second would have to be the whole Lilo and Stitch album. My family has a boat and everytime we take the boat out and we leave the marina, we play "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride".
Tangle “I see the light” it’s just so well done with the floating lights and it does immersed you in the moment.

My 2 yr old just went crazy seeing Janelle's Small World ears. She has them as well and loves them. It's definitely a toss up between Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride from Lilo and Stitch and How Far I'll go from Moana. Love them both 💜
Definitely my favorite song is the circle of life from the lion king 👑. Because it just touches your soul every time
"Candle on the Water" from Pete's Dragon... I played it over the "Downtown Disney" World of Disney store's audio, moved the clothing racks, shared a dance and some tears with my Closest Friend on my last day there before moving away. Always reminds me of her.
I love love LOVE Hi Diddle Dee Dee. It always reminds me of Disneyland :)

My favorite disney song would probably be "Reflection" from Mulan. It's so emotional and sung so beautifully, I've always been able to relate to the fears Mulan expresses through it. I love, "When You Wish Upon A Star." It was also the theme for the pandemic baby shower I held for my brother and sister-in-law. They had been trying to get pregnant for many years, with a few miscarriages during those years, and even tried fertility treatments. One day, they wished upon a star and now they have a toddler running around. So, "When You Wish Upon a Star" is close and dear to my heart.

“Arabian Nights” from Aladdin is my absolute favorite! It sets the tone for such an iconic movie. It’s got movement and flair to it. It’s one of the best songs to sing dramatically! If you haven’t given it a try, definitely do!

Zip-e-Dee do da has alway been my favorite song. It’s soo bright and positive and I grew up singing it with my family. My second is When you wish upon a Star. Both classics that are close and near and dear to my heart and what I feel Disney represents for me

I know it is a bit morbid by my favorite song is "The next right thing" from Frozen 2. The fact that they put the feeling of grief, of what it is like into a song so perfectly is just amazing. It hurts, it's hard, and the song is not pretty, just like how Grief feels. And how even though it is hard to go through, all you need to do is take little steps. Don't think about what is in the future, just little steps of getting up, and taking that next step and just breathing helps you through it. It makes me cry but it is so beautifully represented in this song.

My favorite movie is Lilo and Stitch, but the nod to my favorite song has to go to “There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.” Not only is it a wonderful message, but the video of Walt and the Sherman Brothers singing it together is beyond special. 🎶💖🎶
