Looking at the position before Bb8 if White decides he wants to keep the Bishop he would by a simple process of elimination arrive at Bb8 and then notice that Ba7 traps the Queen . Not exactly a ‘ bolt out of the blue move ‘ .

You have to be kidding, these guys can do that blindfolded. Maybe some random GM or IM would struggle, but at this level, it's not a problem.
