  • Priceless Farms co-founder and manager Aaron Elton gives viewers a tour of the farm's burgeoning Moringa fields. The day after a large storm he shows some of the damage that occurred and l remedies a treee that had blown over. The video shows how resilient Moringa trees are and how they are planted, cropped and harvest with techniques that maximizes the health and output of the trees. This video also demonstrates the power of Regenerative Agro-forestry, inter-cropping other trees and shrubs with a completely organic setting that enhances the Moringa plantation and provides a multitude of other crops and outputs for the community farmers and their families.
This video will be very helpful to anyone who is contemplating a Moringa plantation.

Thankyou for great lesson on moringa plant. Im growing moringa in Malta which is (very warm) Mediterainian maybe subtropical rather then tropical so diring winter the moringa loses all its leafs but grows back in May so we have from six to nine months growing season depending on weather conditions. But i have proven that moringa can grow outside all year in my country

I'm looking for a website for your products? I'm using Moringa personally & have just grown my first plants in pots for about 6 weeks now. I like everything about this plant & hope to use the ones I grow for my own food supply. I've given some plants as gifts to gardener friends of mine. I live in the U.S. so my growing zone is much different. Thank you for the lesson on pruning for best production of leaves.

I just ordered some Moringa seeds today in hopes of having a crop in the next year or so. I am moving to a very arid, dry, and hot section of the US but the only draw back is that it will dip below freezing sometimes during the months of December and January. I may have to grow these inside of a greenhouse or at least cover them for a couple of months during the night. Hoping for a good cash crop as well as utilizing the tree for a good food and medicinal source.

Will Moringa grow at higher altitudes like South Western Uganda? Do you offer any training workshops for people interested in becoming outgrowers?

For reference Moringa grows all along the equator and is often found in the wild. Which is good news for poor people it's an invasive species though so be careful where you plan it.

yes moringa will grow but it will need more water ,, very easy to find out though exactly how much is needed plant 3 moringa trees (test trees) 1st tree feed the least 3rd tree feed the most & 2nd tree feed in middle and which ever tree does the best that will be your watering schedule

How come you did not plant in straight lines? Doesnt it become difficult when harvesting and applying fertilizers if your plants are scattered unevenly?

  • @VisionCarrierDreamCatcher

Do you manage the trees to also maximize pod/seed production?

  • @manoharsinghashiya7184

lt would be better to prune the branches before replanting any fallen uprooted tree.

those moringas that were being harvested looked to be under 1 year old because of how thin they were ,, i've had my moringa tree for only 2.5 years and it is easily 4x as thick as the ones seen in this video

I’d like to know where did you $$$ purchase that type of lock blade knife? It is something I need for my projects, what brand of knife maker is it ? I hope it’s not a cheap Chinese fabricated steel. The quality is very poor because of the heat treat and type of steel used in their knock off blades. If you could list the manufacturer and model it would be greatly appreciated. Aloha.

    Wonderful educational video, thank you...
    However....
We are separate from nature, we are stewards of nature and are suppose to treat it well....unfortunately, for the most part we don't, sadly.
We were created to live forever, nature was not.
    Peace to all 💘
