Am I crazy or did garganacls ability stop cinderace from libero fire typing when he flame charged the switch in. But that wouldn't make sense because he then libero fighting when he double kicked him. Is it different for cinderace since he is already a single fire type rather than a dual type like the other protean users?
Libero won't activate when the mon uses the move which has the same typing as the user, so libero will only activate when it uses any move other than a fire one

Eg: Assume greninja was a MONO water type, then hydropump won't activate it's protean but ice beam sure would
