    I seriously hope you used a respirator or air room purifier while sanding. That's A LOT of mold to make airborne

      Thank you for your concern!
      We had a vacuum conected directly to the sander - it took in 90% of the sanding dust.

    The Grey color is mold (Fungus) starting to form.

      It would be my guess as well.
      I have expierance where two plywood projects stay in the same shed - one gets the mold and the other one doesn't. The same environment - completely different outcomes.
      That's why I was wondering if it was because of the material.

    You could try HPL for outdoor use
