    The entire check-in process was a total disaster. Maybe we just got lucky because they won't be rated as a 3-star hotel resort for nothing. To be fair, we left Bohol Beach Club with high hopes that our next visit will be so much better. We would like to thank Ms. Karen of Bohol Beach Club for being patient as well. This experience won't keep us from coming back because we believe in second chances. Hopefully, we will see Bohol Beach Club from a different side on our next stay.

    My family had been there at Bohol Beach Club 6 times in the BeachFront suite room and had never been disappointed. I will still choose Bohol Beach Club....

    I hope the buffet leftovers are given to the staff. looks awful boring there. I'm curious about what a night's stay costs.

      We hope so too. The room costs more than $200/night. Boring can be defined depending on one's preference. Some prefer the lively night life in Alona beach. Some prefer the laid back vibe in BBC 😁. Thanks for your feedback and for subscribing 🤭🇵🇭

      Finally, somebody fully understood our sentiments. BBC has one of the beach front since it's part of Dumaluan beach but it has to level up its customer service. Hopefully, you'll find a resort that will truly satiate your needs. Enioy Bohol 🙏🏖🇵🇭

    I have stayed here three times in the past decade.
    Each time seems less desirable.
    Last time the water from my shower smelled bad so I chose to shower in a different shower, for guests using the pool, was private.
    I had some promotions each time and paid about $100 or PP 5,000, nightly.

      Thanks for sharing your honest experience. BBC cannot be complacent on their previous customer service, laurels, etc. The hospitality service is a tough industry. One must always be consistent and competitive at all times. Hopefully, they'll improve for the better 🙏🙏🙏

    I'm going back diving in Panglao next month and was trying very hard to book BBC. This is how I stumbled on your CZcams page. Is that Mike I saw? Long, dinala ko sila Jabby and Kate dyan two years ago. They have the best beach, very good bfast spread, and everyone is polite. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but I will always choose BBC despite their extortionate rates, lol.
    Have you guys tried Best Western Ivy Wall? Also very good.
    Next month I'm staying a night in Bellevue, then 3 nights in Ivy Wall.
    I like how unfiltered your posts are, by the way. The previous comment about you being freeloaders is very unkind.

      You can always ask for the local rates (Bohol residents) in BBC. That's 7500/night. BBC shares the Dumaluan beach with South Palms that will soon have M Gallery and Panglao Shores; Dumaluan public beach and smaller resorts. BBC is outdated and it needs a major makeover 🤭
      We prefer Modala (czcams.com/video/F5UJr65Q288/video.htmlsi=2ndlX-Ubw32Tr1_P). Inspired by modern resorts in Hawaii. It shares Doljo beach with Bellevue (another outdated resort) but has good customer service.
      If it's Alona Beach, we prefer Hennan and Amorita. We never said "We will never come back to BBC" 😁 It's funny that some ppl had violent reactions to this honest BBC experience. We're always open to 2nd chances - BBC can still improve.

    South Palms was used to be part of BBC until that area was sold. Hence, both resorts are alike.🙂

      It is. What is not normal - waiting for 2 hours to get checked in. Preparing the room for more than 2 hrs was not a normal practice especially for established resorts.

    I am going over there in January 2024. I booked and paid for two hotels by mistake. They don't refund. So maybe I stay at this hotel for a time and then the Modela.

    it is normal to be charged up front in the real world any 5 star i have stayed at ,i think you need to check your ego whats makes you better than the locals.

      I guess you overlooked what was written on the subtitles. Is it acceptable to wait for atleast 2 hours for an over priced 3 star resort with no explanation provided why it took them that long to prepare our room that was even booked 3 months in advance?

    Someone messed up most likely in preparing your room. The previous guests might have made a mess in the room and checked out late or housekeeping had issues etc. If I was the manager there, I would've been transparent and offered you a discount for your lunch while you waited for your room. Things go wrong but it is crucial to try and make amends and recover the customer's experience. My take is, if I had 200 guests in a weekend, and 1 was extremely dissatisfied and there was nothing done to rectify their experience, that weekend was not a successful one. Detailed negative reviews in social media can hurt the business in the long run.

      We got there around lunch time which is more than 2hrs the check in time. Yet they weren't able to prepare the room at 3pm. We had to make several follow ups for them to prepare the room.

      We deal.with present conditions and in the hospitality industry you cannot just sit on your past laurels and be complacent. We can afford and we paid for all our travel and accomodations. We are not free loaders. Look around and compare it with the services of South Palms, Modala, Henann. BBC needs to level up its service. It's a wake up call and it needs to addressed on a timely manner.
