It's magical! The melancholic melody of the recitation hits me too. I dont know what was the meaning of it, but i can absorb its power! I recommend to people out there, if you feel stress, listen to one of the Quran recitation and it helps you to feel relax, away from distraction. Really guys, this is magical! It has POWER! I'm a Catholic Christian, but i love the essence of Islam! 💖 God blesses us all!

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

It is normally to weep during listening the Holy Qur'an , when it touchs your heart ,because it is the speech of Allah. If there is no weeping ,that means the heart is not so well,it is tough ,not tender.

It's too noble that i have nothing to say , i was born in a Tunisian Muslim Family , but , i was not practicing but the charm of my religion was by my side , alwaaaaays .

In the Quran Allah says, if He would have revealed the Quran all at once, the mountains would have torn apart, shaking just by the burden of it. MashAllah. May Allah guide you to the right path.

According to Psychology truth has the power to move us. I don't know but this is the real feeling everyone has when they understand the message of the verses. Brother Atilla, don't think this is only you. Everyone feels the same regardless of their religion when they truly listen to it. But there is one other saying in Islam. Reading the translated version of the Quran is like seeing the beautiful garden with someone else's eyes(that means listening to the story of how beautiful the garden is) but reading the Quran in Arabic is like seeing and feeling the garden with your own eyes and heart.
As a student of English literature, I know how language can vary while you are translating something. Even sometimes it gets very complicated to transform the message and feelings of a word in it's translated version. In some cases, it is difficult to find substitute word in the targeted language while translating.
But it surprises me even the translated version of the Quran is so powerful that it moves our core heart and feelings in powerful ways. May Allah guide us toward the straight path. Ameen.
