OMG, the Pizza Pop commercial!! The brain is so fascinating. I haven't seen or thought about it in 40 years and I still remember it.
Remember how good they where before Pillsbury destroyed them.
The music in the Mother Truckers ad is "Taurus 3" by Mike Oldfield, which appeared on his album Crises, released earlier that year.
The Apple Lisa computer turned out to be a flop. Amongst it's problems was its price, $9995 in 1983 dollars, the equivalent of almost 26 grand today. Apple would release the Macintosh in 1984, at a much more affordable 3 grand.
It looks more like a CKY broadcast than CBC, but can you say anything about the personalities or branding used on the particular Grey Cup broadcast?
Now that you mention it, check out the logo on the announcer's jacket. I think this actually was CBC. i.imgur.com/mTqISKS.png
@@probnot Then it's CBC Manitoba. That's a hit to my sense of aesthetics.
I couldh have brought a TV for the price a sandwich, thanks Justin!
Bring back the original Pizza Pops from Winnipeg. Pillsbury Minnesota has completely dropped the ball on them and it is a shame.
