I think it would be good idea to keep fans running on low speed (don't even start with any freq. lower than what they need to spin), not to stress compressor more. No need to turn the fans off, they are dead silent on lowest speed.

Except bearing wear etc from them running all the time.
All I need to do is add a few lines of code to adjust that.
I had to wait until I used it to see how it responded to what I programmed so far.
I have noticed that some mini splits start the fan right away.
Could be due to how the DC fan takes so long to start.

@@hackfreehvac but are bearings really a problem? I would think they are not under any stress at such low speed. Also much cheaper than compressor. And running fans would help the compressor with lower pressure, so less wear on compressor. Small AC split units have fixed outdoor fan speed and bearings dont die even after 10+ years.

83° inside.....that sounds like hell. I don't let my house get above 72° at no point in the year. While AZ is hotter than TX.....we are still plenty warm here in the summer. House maintains 70° when its 108° outside. My wife would be an angry lady if my house got that warm 😂😂😂😂😂. She loves air conditioning

108 deg is what we get in May and into June.
Then add another 10 degrees to that for July!
You have more humidity, depending where you're at. So you might need 70 deg to be comfortable.
Common setpoint in Arizona homes is 78 deg.
74 to 76 for those willing to pay for it.

@@hackfreehvac i modified my system to act as a dehum for the first 10 minutes of run time to load up the coil...then its abke to more btu's towards sensible cooling...seems to do the trick quite well

@@jasonjohnsonHVAC Seems like the old "Enhanced" mode for Trane ECM 2.0 back in the early 2000's (something missing from modern X13 motors) where it would run 50% blower speed for something like 2 minutes then 80% and then 100% after 10 minutes for enhanced de-humidification 👍
