- Hey Guys! Welcome back to another scooter video.
Todays we cover how important it is to ride the right size bars. The right size bars can be the difference between landing a new trick and taking years to simply learn the basics. when your bars are too tall for you, it makes it super hard to learn over head tricks like briflips and buttercups. but if your bars are to small, then you just end up with a back ache. so dialing your bars height is super important. We also cover bar width. i explain the benefits and take aways from riding short and wider bars.

I’m 5,7 I’m not sure if I should get a 26 or 27. I’m looking for more of doing park and street tricks? What would be a good bar heigh?

How tall are you? Im 5,9 got my first scooter its 28tall an24 wide the bar when im stood over it ( not on the deck ) is about an inch below my belly button is that cool?
Which scooter should I buy when you exceed 100kg?
I have 25 inch tall and 24 inch wide bars on my lucky covenant pro. I am only 5 foot do you think I should cut them?
25 inches tall is in a good ball park range. if you like more overhead tricks, then definitely riding something like 23-24" tall would definitely help. For example, i am 5'5" and i ride my bars at 24" Tall. and then if you like them wide then you should be fine, but if you are struggling with barspins then 22-23" is solid for sure. Hope this helps, definitely lmk if you need any more help dialing in your size.

I’m a 6 foot 58 year old male looking for a daily commuter 12 mile roundtrip …recommendations on scooter brand, wheels, bar height? Thx
Since your looking to commute. I would definitely recommend a scooter on the larger side. Something with bars around 26 to 28 inches tall. That will keep you from having to bend over super far during your commute.
Also for a more comfy ride I would recommend a deck that is at least 20.5 inches long or preferably maybe even 22.5 if you really want some extra foot space.
And then I would definitely consider some larger wheels. Stepping it up to 120 mm will definitely give you a smoother ride over that distance.

Now, if you’re looking for something electric to get you rolling faster. that unfortunately is not my field of specialties. But I have rode the bird scooters a few times and those things are definitely fun and fast.

Hey Chase, what setup would you recommend for someone who is 186cm tall?
At 186cm tall, a solid bar height would most likely be between 26-27" tall. but it really depends on the style of riding and amount you want to bend over while riding. at 26" tall, overhead tricks will be easier, but if you push to 27" or even taller, you then will bend over less and have a more comfy ride.
