I think I speak for all Access fans when I say, please do this for more games. It can be shorter games, other people, challenge runs, anything. I just like watching you guys fully play games from start to finish.

Thanks for a great series Access! A journey full of talk of back-seating, hesitating, mistakes and pondering in menus. For Dave’s final act in battle to be confidently taking a decisive risk and triumphing, it just felt poetic 😁. If Robenhagen were still with us he would have been so so proud 😋.
Sephiroth's battle theme is so amazing. Definitely one of my favorite Boss soundtracks. Final Fantasy as a whole never dissapoints with their amazing music. Btw CONGRATS DAVE!!! 🎉

That was my favorite series access have ever done. The combination of Rob’s love for the game, his frustration with Dave, Dave’s insistence on tinkering with menus and saves. Just absolutely brilliant.

This series was truly one of the great things to come out of the internet. A classic that I can easily see myself rewatching when I want a good laugh, a hearty adventure, and a blast of nostalgia. Thank you so much Dave Strife and Robenhagen!
What a fantastic experience to relive this game. I haven't visited it in over 20 years. I was struggling to remember what happened at the end, and I think I'm even more excited for Final Fantasy: Reunion (speculative name, but what else could it be!?!?!)

Master Tonberry is Rob’s nemesis. When he says “quickly” to Dave, it backfires. Master Tonberry’s are all about patience. They will only use Everyone’s Grudge if you attack them twice (or four times) before they move. If you attack once then wait for them to walk around to attack again, they never use it.
Thank you both for this playthrough, its been a joy. Not just the game, but Dave and his reactions. And Rob and Remove All, I didn't stop laughing for 10 minutes. No idea what I will do with my Monday evenings without this on VOD :(
I played this as a child but don’t think I ever got past disc 2. I think as a child I got lost in the open world too young to fully grasp the hints. Thanks Dave for completing this and allowing me to finally see it to the end

One of my favorite parts is Dave saying "Oh no I hope I don't have to do another mini game" just before he has to do a mini game. It's like he can sense the inpending horror of the mini game.

I watched this every week since the beginning, and since it's started I've had quite a few large life changes (moving, new job, etc) so this has been a great joy to watch throughout all of that. Love this game and love this channel and it's staff, both on camera and behind the scenes (side note: funnily enough, I have not really played on a PlayStation console in a few years, but this channel and it's hosts are so entertaining that I continue to watch so many of their videos and series' regardless)! Thank you so much from all of us who have enjoyed this series from week to week, it's been such a fun journey!
What a series, thank you Dave Strife, Robenhagen and the access team for bringing such joy in these weekly streams. Maybe an FFIX play through for Dave should be on the cards next ??
Absolutely loved this stream series! It's consistently been my CZcams highlight of each week and I feel immensely privileged to have been able to follow it along from start to end. Hope you find a way to continue documenting Dave's journey through the FF7 universe, but if you don't, we'll always have fond memories of this stream to live by, from the time he bio-ed himself all the way to his incredible finish against Sephiroth instead of using a megalixir!
That's probably the best ending to Safer Sephiroth I've ever seen. A slither of Barrier saves the damage from Supernova and then a very gusty Meteorain for the KO. Well played Davenhagen.
Sad to end what feels like a journey with my best buddies... Hope it continues!
P.S. Now please do FF6,8,9,or 10! Or I'd recommend Octopath Traveler 2, another perfect RPG!

Absolutely incredible playthrough especially with the dynamics and friendship pouring through between the two of you. I have been a gamer since the days of pong and this game is my absolute favourite of all time. Back in the day I completed it three times to do everything you could possibly do. I will be over 60 by the time the 3rd instalment of remake is released and I can't wait.

I'm going to see Final Fantasy Music in concert in November, having never even played through one myself, and I can't wait. The music in this game was epic, and my memories of it when I listen will be purely from Dave's playthrough.

Would absolutely love to see Dave tackling FF8 with Robjin (and Fujin). There are so many gameplay elements that, if Dave goes in purely blind, will make for a very exciting playthrough!

A joy to relive this game, vicariously through these streams.
I always thought that meteor was so incredibly slow that it wouldn't destroy the planet. Just come to rest on top of Midgar. Just a giant boulder resting where a city once stood.
Shame they never noticed that hitting the 'select' equivalent button brings up a panel that gives enemy names and the name of whatever friendly character is selected. Would help when, for example, trying to target Cloud with that Phoenix Down.
Now you need to do a reaction video to FF7 Advent Children.

I think the two of you streaming together and one of you taking the other through a game you're passionate about is a great format, akin to Easy Allies' Silver Squad stream (and a certain red shirt Star Trek podcast 😉). Would absolutely love to have more of this.
Cover and counter combo really suited Barrett's character, as a father and avalanche leader. Nice synergy between character and game mechanics.
Absolutely loved watching these videos and I hope you continue to do more with different games maybe Rob plays one of Dave's favourites next

Definitely go and look up the cutscene from the Shinra mansion involving Cloud and Zack. It’s not that long and sheds so much light on a bunch.
I think someone on the team needs to create a menu supercut, I mean that’s all we were really here for, I suppose there is a game around it but yeah just give us the menus please even if it’s just a crazy short 😂
Final Fantasy VIII is next, right? 😅 Loved it all the way through. Actually kind of makes me want to play it again, for the sixth or seventh time.
