Another good video mate. You made the DH track look smooth! Just had a look at it recently after shredder and it's definitely not.. Any tips for the coffin and step down? How different is it to the road gap for example?
Thanks mate. The step down is really easy (once you've done it the first time and got over the mental side) it's basically a drop off that doesn't need a front wheel lift or pop. The best way to ride it is from the drop in higher up above the smaller drop/step down then don't brake between them before going off the main one. That should give you the perfect speed to float over the gap and onto the down slope. I have actually seen someone ride it super slow, pop it, land on the flat and still ride it out! Also seen plenty of people do it on hardtails, the landing is pretty smooth. The coffin jump requires a bit more effort, mainly because you need speed and it's not as steep leading up to it, plus it's a bigger gap so lots of pedaling is required. It's a bit different as there's not really a lip to send you up and over to the landing and it's not that big a drop so you need the speed to clear it. Iv seen people land on top of the flat part of the landing which isn't the nicest but they've always road it out okay. It's useful for both if there's someone you can follow the first time you do them to get the speed right.
@@paulharrisonmtb5644 Sounds like sound advice. Makes sense what you've said and I'll try the approach you suggested for the first one as your approach is at an angle that I don't want to think about over and above the step down for the first attempt When I finally do it I'll give you a shout out for the advice. Much appreciated, Thanks again👊🏻
@@paulharrisonmtb5644 ah cool. I have found a helmet mounted go pro is a lot more stable than a chest mount. Your video looked like it was chest mounted and if it was, I figured there was no reason to go for the go pro 8.
sick
Cracking vid man. U were flying down those trails

Hey mate. Great video. Thought that tree stump was going to have you near the end! Did you have a gimbal for your go pro? It looks so stable.
Thanks mate. No it's on a fox proframe chin mount. Looks ridiculous when your wearing it but makes for an awesome angle and stability.
