I've always loved round headlight on naked bikes, it gives the touch of the old classic style but modernized.
Did my conversion earlier this year. I absolutely love it and gets a lot of compliments
I love this, now it looks like a proper monster! I love the retro but still very modern look, it blends in very well with the rest of the bike.

Nicely done guys! Have any plans to make different models? I think something that keeps the OEM shape but be more like xdiavel headlight. I think that would look sick.
totally agreee , while it is a great headlight , does not fit the bike as well as the oem one !

Not really needed because its just a simple drop in! We will definitely do it if we get our hands on one though.
I wrote it because in the vids you can see how the bike look finished better than just lookin photos in the web. So that was the main purpose of asking a vid to you.

I don't know what these companies are thinking when they build new naked bikes. Don't they realize that the angular, awkward shaped headlights are just garbage? Just keep the old round headlights, those look sick.

Would any of the Diavel LED headlights fit on a Monster 796?
Where did you find the mounting bracket and compatible plug in wire? I have the adaptive JW Speaker headlight for my 2018 797 but I cannot get it to fit or plug in even with the conversion kit.
This is our conversion kit and would not be compatible with your bike. We just released our kit for the 797 and other latest-generation monsters.

Amazing, very nice looking. BUT PLEASE... change those silver bolts from the front of the headlight. they must be black! :)
Black hardware is very uncommon and quite expensive to do right. 98% of the bolts on the rest of the bike are stainless or zinc coated.

I like the look of this but I think simply stuffing the 2 gold resistors into the head lamp back shell is poor. Surely they can rattle around in there and possibly scratch/damage something. Its a very nice quality bit of kit but this spoils it in my opinion.
We have update this to a different style of resistor and they are covered in a heavy duty heat shrink. This was changed shortly after making this video years ago.

Andrés Calvo this specific kit does not but we will have one that will very soon. The 797 shares the same headlight with newest 821 and 1200 models.

Does Motodemic make a "clip-on" handle bar conversion for the 2016-2017 Monster 821-1200?

Go to woodcrafts website, you can get true clip-ons that goes where the stock turn signals were(on fork) or you can get their adapter plate that swaps out OE handle bars, risers...and replaces it with their adapter plate version..I had the adapter plate version which is great but I'm getting a motodemic headlight conversion so now I can go true clip-on with 2.5" of rise....only dilemma is which headlight do you want from motodemic..? As they are pricey but excellent looking and better light output...

how many lumens does this throw out.
Lumens are relative and not a very good way to judge output, especially with the numbers being fudged by all of the copy cat LED headlights on the market. The Adaptive shown in the install has 2,250 High/2,025 Low Raw Lumens that produce 48,000 High/11,500 Low Candela Output. All relative but they are right at the maximum of what DOT and ECE allow.

We do recommend that you take your stock headlight off and see what other components may need to be dealt with first (instrument panel mounting, obstructions, etc.).
