Artist Talk | Ink Alchemy: Beyond Tradition

On March 24, Gallery Director Daphne King sat down with five of the fifteen artists whose works are currently on show in the exhibition Ink Alchemy: Beyond Tradition at the Central Gallery. They are Lin Guocheng, Tai Xiangzhou, Kelly Wang, Zhang Xiaoli, and Zheng Chongbin. Each one of them discussed their artistic practice and how their work reinterprets Chinese ink painting traditions. She was joined by Dr. Susan L. Beningson, co-curator of the exhibition, via zoom from New York.
