Consort Guitarrístico de Chile: Transiente - Patricio Wang

The "Chilean Guitar Consort", is a group that brings together prominent Chilean guitarists. Created in 2007, this quintet (singular in Chile) is dedicated to the interpretation of universal music, transcribed or composed especially for the ensemble; the consort consist in a original guitar instrumentation in various registers: soprano, alto, tenor (standard), bass and contrabass. This musical instruments has been specially designed and built for the group by the master luthier Juan Carlos Moraga, in the Valdivia City.
This innovative configuration allows to extend the tessitura, range and timbre of the guitar towards the full spectrum of sound range traditionally used in the West for the families of musical instruments (flutes, bowed strings, saxophones, etc.), which, through variations in the size and model manufacture, obtained from very high registers to the most bass.
The name "Consort" refers to the old-fashioned term for this word in the English chamber music composed between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries for musical ensembles with instruments of the same family called "Whole Consort".

Excelente interpretación! Sólo tengo una duda: ¿qué medidas tiene la guitarra contrabajo? ¿Y qué cuerdas usa? Tengo una guitarra normal con cuerdas Magma Transpositor Bass Sound y suena filete, pero quisiera una estructura que le permita sacar mayor provecho sonoro.
