Back to Front celebrates one of the most pioneering and innovative artists of modern times. The film captures the excitement of a spectacular live performance from London's O2 but it also brings a deeper insight into Peter Gabriel the artist through its use of supplementary interviews.
At the core of the performance is a celebratory run-through of the album So, what Gabriel calls his 'pop star moment', but it also features many more of his best-loved songs like Solsbury Hill, Digging in the Dirt, Secret World and Shock the Monkey as well as brand new and even unfinished material.
The film has been directed by BAFTA award winner Hamish Hamilton using the latest 4K Ultra High Definition technology and a 5.1 surround sound mix.

This song has lost nothing over time,Nor has Peter, truly a classic rock song.
Peter is like "Jedi" man who has crept into the spiritual dark side and crawled up from there. The sound and rhythm he produces is completely different from the weight of existence. He deliberately shakes the listener's mind with anxiety, but in the end it saves the heart. I temporarily fell on the dark side of this same mind for some reason. I've endured listening to Peter's music. And the heart was saved.
Recently, I heard Freddie in the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" and came back here with a little deficiency.

I saw this tour three times - Berlin and Manchester in 2013 and Budapest in 2014. It was such an experience and a tick off the bucket list.

David Rhodes is an amazing guitarist. He is way too underrated and should indeed had been mention among the greatest of all time.

Perhaps you should think of it as performance art. You're about the same age as Gabriel; you've heard stuff much more experimental than this. Yoko Ono, for instance, although you could argue that she's not singing, either....Also, Robert called you "sire," so at least he thinks of you as royalty....
