Seen Rod 3 x times in Glasgow in Scotland with twice with the winning 2 x tickets for his shows in the VIP seats both in 1986 at the SECC in Glasgow and 2007 at Hampden park again winning Vip 2 x tickets and really enjoyed both concerts as well as other concert i went at Celtic park in Summer of 1991 where everyone ran once through the gates to try get good front view in the standing area at very front of stage and i made very front of Stage at the Celtic fc park concert . In the local Daily Record Scottish newspaper in 1986 had a snippet " Big night with Rod " had myself and other winner of the Vip tickets think we were getting to meet Rod Stewart with such ^ but never ever met guy and would have been nice as been big fan for many yrs .

Best days was the 1960s the 70s and 80s and i reckon the 80s was great for music after the 80s left us sadly then got worse and worse and nothing good today . Rod Stewart though has stood the test of time and knew when to change with the times and has played so many live concerts throughout his Longevity in which he shall stand out as if not the very best live act EVER then certainly one of the very best live music solo performers live ..Some great concerts he has given out in his time all over the Globe .
I have had his music in my life for the past 50 years. Love his personality and voice. But also, I believe this is who Michael Jackson got some of his choreography from. Michael just brought it up to his time. A lot of Rod's moves remind me of Michael (RIP)

As a solo performer (post Faces) this may well have been Rod's absolute peak. Arguably his band from '76 to '80 was better but hard to top this performance. nobody has ever done it better!
I saw him in Toronto on this tour. I picked up tickets to mostly see Jeff Beck on guitar who was touring with him at the time. However, Jeff left the tour half way thru. Rod was great that night....even without Beck. 🎸✌️❤️

I was at the first night's concert and the idea, Rod's camp, was to film the concert for some sort of paid, future, programming. Well it turns out that if Stewart and company had used the footage, that first night, they would have had to pay royalties to every paying concert goer. Thus it was decided to do the free concert so as to be able to not pay any royalties. We went back the second night, thinking the free concert was only for those who had paid for the first night, only to find that the arena was at capacity and so we were not able to get in. I was upset at the time but I got over it. Oh, I had a neighbor who was a Warner executive and he let me in on the paid concert dilemma.
