When I first bought this 12" I was SOOO PISSED it wasnt the original version (Instrumental) This WHOLE 12" was totally remixed and the beat was totally different. And for years I had dreams about the original, I had to record it from the movie Missing In Action to really enjoy it but you only heard the first few minutes of it with background noise, thanks to the bootleg that was released around 10 years ago or so, you get this 12" AND BOTH INSTRUMENTALS and is worth GOLD and sold for $150.00!!!

Just picked up this record with Reckless on the B side for $2 today
Bought Tibetan Jam back in the 80's. Sold for £50 on eBay about 3yrs ago. Not sure if should have parted.

Well, as I was told, Chris and Dave, basically worked on these two tracks for the film OVERNIGHT, plus the Trailer for the film, so im sure they left it instrumental so Ice T could rap over the tracks, but to make money and publicity, and to get their name out there, Im sure thats why they released the vocal version on the soundtrack, but then took it one step FURTHER by re-mixing Tibetan Jam and Reckless and putting it on a 12" single, thus, making the instrumentals buried,, but if you HEAR....

....The originals, and remember them from the film, you'll recognize that the beats were so much warmer and sharper, and had that TRUE 808 sound, as opposed to the "layered with other beats" sound that you hear on the remix 12" (Polydor) SO someone out there kept the original tracks and recorded them to bootleg (THANK YOU GOD!!!) and if you see the film "Missing In Action" 1 and 3 they get some mileage out of the instrumental Reckless track, I think the sound engineer LOVED these tracks too!!!
