Thank you for bringing good memory back, my cellphone when I was in secondary school my dad were bought this upgraded from the 8310 I was happy though this phone brings no camera but glow in the dark cover and polyphonic ringtones already hype that day. I loved this damn phone! I remember buying them from 7-Eleven between 2004 and 2006 as cheap burner phones.... They sold for $50 back then and did everything you needed at the time. And... it was 2004-2006, so you didn't look like a caveman using this. It blended perfectly with much nicer phones, and yet did everything except take pictures, which by 2004 was already a pretty basic feature on all but these entry-level cell phones.
Embarrassingly... I was using the last 3100 I bought as my primary cell all the way up until 2012 when I finally admitted to myself that having full internet access on-the-go was indeed pretty damn awesome.
Also, in 2012 if you were also using a phone like this, you know those looks you got from strangers, looks of pity that you must be so poor and pathetic to be under 80 years old and still without a smart phone... well they started becoming more and more depressing. I was a late bloomer with smart phones. Whatever.
