All right Liberia now you’re starting to move in the right direction, this needs to be done with all of your natural resources. Hopefully Liberia can start warehousing some of that rubber for their own needs like paving heavily traveled dirt roads using some of that rubber and recycled rubber for their asphalt

Some one should remind them the rubber is not a natural resource of Liberia if it wasn't for the colonisers there would be no rubber plantation in the country as it is native of South America, the same goes for cacao bean an kassawa in Ghana.

This is definitely a growing movement. The Global North must learn to pay attention to Africa's growing movement toward self determination and economic independence.

President Weah should have made this decision early in his Presidency not at the last hour.
    Viva Liberia 🎉

More great new. On top of Central African Republic, this is more good news. Africans are making headway towards unity and true independence. I am so happy that their abusers are being pushed out and back to whence they came. I really wish i could do something to truly enrich and inspire growth in African countries who want to separate from their colonizers and manifest their true, great potential.

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 keep up the good work, Africa keep your natural resources over there until peoples are willing to pay the true value of it every African country on that continent that has natural resources should hold off on export

Well, if Liberia can not process now, it can raise the prices of unprocessed products..and limit the availability of it! They absolutely must value themselves more……

Even if you’re unable to process a product, the pure action holding/stocking the product (in a systematic way) and brainstorming ways to add value and refine raw products actually raises the price of goods, given significant marketshare.

Can Liberia refine unprocessed rubber? They clearly cannot afford to warehouse raw rubber indefinitely and producers can't stay in business if they can't sell their product. If they don't have refining capabilities then it sounds like a good thing to invest in.

They were refining rubber in Africa before the Colonizers came. They will be fine without parasitic interference.

I understand the point on wanting to refine products at home. Just be mindful that some of these refining processes can wreak havoc on your environment. Be careful.
