I truly admire how humble you are Mike. You mentioned how grateful you are for being able to own your skid steer. It’s awsome that you recognize things in life that we take for granted. We are blessed sir!!
Schools are closed today in the U.P.; planning ahead for another storm. Post offices are federal buildings, recordings are ok but some Karens will still say you're not allowed. We'll watch anything you post, I look forward to your videos. Where can we order Case quarter zips too?
I love the U.P. My moms family is from there and I've spent summers in Ontonagon as long as I can remember. Now I'm 37 and spend winters up there snowmobiling. Keep warm with a pasty my friend.
I work by Mike and we shut it down today too, some corridors are getting slammed, but closer to the big lake is getting less. Supposedly 17 inches according to AT&T haha
Great video Mike. Good seeing you, and crossing paths with Ryan (saw his video today, also, of the same storm). Don't worry about the frequency of videos, life is life and those of who watch and subscribe will enjoy whenever you are able to post. And, yes about the green strobes, kind of. Many state DOT's, if not the federal DOT as well, have researched the best possible visibility lighting, since at least the mid 2010's, and have found that Green is the best color to enhance visibility and reduce glare in reduced and impared visibility to increase safety and awareness of vehicles in such situations. So many, if not all state (if national also) DOT regulated vehicles have adopted the use of green strobes on vehicles operating in such conditions. Is it mandatory?! Not sure. But, at least, high recommended based on the research and information gather over time they have been put into use.
Mike, cool video. You can keep all the snow up there. Hope you and the family are keeping warm and safe. Keep up with the great video's, I see Fred was not out and about, he's smart to stay on these snowy days.
I have an 04 GMC duramax that the dome and radio would stay on. It was similar to what @Bumpypaper1 mentions but the door latch that keeps the door closed. There is a switch in the latch mechanism that tells the radio and dome that you opened the door so they all should shut off. Found this out by opening the passenger door and the light and radio would quit. $300 part in Canada ugh
Great video again Mike! Here in ohio I use a little green Scott seed spreader as my sidewalk salter! It’s only about $50 for one give it a try you’ll be impressed!
Glad to see you all finally got some snow :P I hope you're heads ok, looked like a nasty smash. Enjoyable video as always, it's fun watching you do what you do, also great music 👍
Nice video Mike. Enjoy watching you do snow removal and good to see you hook up with Ryan and catch up on the gossip. Good job and keep up the good work.
In Ryan's @VictoryOutdoorServices video I thought it was weird that you only talked for 30 seconds haha. Glad you put the full convo in yours! Love to hear what you and him have to say no matter if it is BS'ing haha.
Something of note is that when they call for 5” of snow it doesn’t mean you will have 5” stacked up at the end. It’s just like rain where it can melt and compact as it comes down. They may call for 3” but you may only see 1”… we all love to hate on the weather man (including me) but sometimes we don’t know what we don’t know. Great vid though, love to see other plow contractors getting it done!
In Georgia, it is unlawful for any entity (except government) to operate a green flashing light on any vehicle. It is typically used for Command Center
Reference the green light transition. There was a study several years ago, they discovered blue followed by green was the easiest to see at further distance. After that study, ODOT in Ohio and most counties switched to some kind of combo of green, white and amber. And a lot of law enforcement switched to mostly all blue with some red mixed in. I can't speak for other states.
For your bucket strap idea, I did it myself a year or 2 ago and I love it. But instead of a ratchet strap, use an adjustable shoulder strap from a tool bag. Preferably one with a foam pad on it. If you do that I am sure you will be much happier with it. Also I put a gamma food grade lid on my bucket to keep it from spilling or getting wet in the bed of my truck
I noticed your neighbors sump hose goes all the way to the property line and dumping towards your driveway. Accidental of course. 😉 I'm just west of the Twin Cities suburbs and we just got 1/2" during all these storms. I cleared my driveway with my Gas blower. 😆
Great video Mike! I had the same issue with my dome light in my Chevy it ended up being the headlight switch. The dome light button is built into the same switch and it develops a loose connection internally. Just a GM doing GM things lol. Hope that helps.
Hope you’re enjoying to storm today Mike, it’s like money is falling from the sky! Be safe today buddy, we shut down this morning at 4 am, hard to pull in massive copper cables on the north side of MKE when you have no traction haha
Try a canvass bag which will mold to your body and a lot more comfortable. I think your logic is good so never stop trying to improve things like Toyota "Kaizen" continuous improvement.
He's the same guy complaining to the city. Sends his roof water 20 feet to the property line. Here that's no no. My neighbor tried that the city made him remove it as it is against City by laws.
Ohio odot started using green light because you could see the plows better so if you're a plow guy you're allowed to use yellow white and green light on your plow but check with your state first Ohio allows it, Spencer lawn care uses green and white lights on his plow trucks
Hey Mike from Canada 🇨🇦 Montreal here You have to work in and there with Ryan in next concrete season i think your skill, work ethic and attitude is a blast 💥 It I know you have your own thing now but I can dream of it still 😊 Keep the the great work ✌️
dome light strong possiblity push button when door open and closes is sticking or wore out, 8.00 doalar fix , pry out unplug plug new in push back in slot or hole ur done
Maybe put the eyelets at the top of the bucket not completely opposite of each-other. This will keep the bucket upright and should allow you to reach in. After a while you might want a ratchet strap to distribute the weight on your shoulder.
22:42 we all wipe a tear of enjoyment from our eyes too after seeing Ryan 😂
I truly admire how humble you are Mike. You mentioned how grateful you are for being able to own your skid steer. It’s awsome that you recognize things in life that we take for granted. We are blessed sir!!

We love you Mike, you make sure to give out only quality content not just filler videos
Post every day .

Wtf are you talking about? No federal state or city vehicle in my state has green lights on them at all and never have!
EMT POVs run green lights in Indiana. And in Florida green is used with orange for security cars
Your plow rig looks pretty sweet Mike. I've been seeing you lots lately in Ryan's videos. Hello from Arizona.
I believe the little tractor heard you say she was gonna be gone, and she retaliated. 😂 Good vidja Mike ...keep em rollin!
even with not much happening the videos you are putting out are still great
Great hard work Mike! Thank you for the video! That was awesome to watch!
Mike, cool video. You can keep all the snow up there. Hope you and the family are keeping warm and safe. Keep up with the great video's, I see Fred was not out and about, he's smart to stay on these snowy days.
“That’s future Michaels problem” 😂😂😂
Hi Mike just saw you on Ryan's channel.
Awesome, Mike. Thanks for the video. Hope your new baby is doing well!
And you got a badass salter setup that truck looks sweet ✅
Hey Mike, the dome light might be the door switch. Happened on my old Chevy work van, and took the shop two weeks to figure it out, was a 40$ part!
I have an 04 GMC duramax that the dome and radio would stay on. It was similar to what @Bumpypaper1 mentions but the door latch that keeps the door closed. 😂

Was good to hear Jarren (?)is still working for you when you need him.
I enjoy your videos Mike. Stay busy and keep up the good work
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always, Mike!!!!!
Glad to see you all finally got some snow :P I hope you're heads ok, looked like a nasty smash. Enjoyable video as always, it's fun watching you do what you do, also great music 👍
“Maybe I’ll just leave the truck in drive” I love it I do the same

That’s a headed seat. Look at this👍🏻! That was hilarious. Great vid Mike.
Thanks for the content, Mike! I think every doctor will agree...whenever you have head trauma, the best thing to do is go to sleep. 😂😂😊
Not true. THE WORST thing for things like a concussion is sleep.
@helium5912 I was being rhetorical.
I've heard if you don't lose consciousness then you don't need to worry. I could be wrong.

Our county plows have had green strobes on them for a few years. I will say I find it easier to see green strobe in a snow storm than the amber.
That was awesome seeing Ryan...and heated seats...ohh yeahhh the best bro!!!
Goooooood work!!!!!!!!!!
-43 where I live 2 feet of snow, school buses are still running.
Gotta love Canada
We all want Wisconsin Winters back! Nice Video!
Use Eric's pull along cooler for your salt
Be safe out there Mike
You have a good channel
Keep the videos coming I enjoy yours just as I enjoy Ryan and Eric’s.
I noticed your neighbors sump hose goes all the way to the property line and dumping towards your driveway. Accidental of course. 😉
I'm just west of the Twin Cities suburbs and we just got 1/2" during all these storms. I cleared my driveway with my Gas blower. 😆
Omg!! Be careful Mike..COME ON!!! JEEZE LOUWEEZ!! LOL
Hi Mike, in the UK the green strobe signifies the operator has there seat belt on 🇬🇧👍🏻
Good to see you again Mike, saw you on Ryan’s video earlier.😂 How are you liking the solid tires on the skid loader? Keep the videos coming.🇺🇸🙏
Great video Mike! I had the same issue with my dome light in my Chevy it ended up being the headlight switch. The dome light button is built into the same switch and it develops a loose connection internally. Just a GM doing GM things lol. Hope that helps.
Road Commission and city plows have green lights in the U.P., too. At least on the western end anyway.
Love watching the boys get to work keep it up buddy yeee yeeee
Hope you’re enjoying to storm today Mike, it’s like money is falling from the sky! Be safe today buddy, we shut down this morning at 4 am, hard to pull in massive copper cables on the north side of MKE when you have no traction haha
lmao😁 future mikes problem
I always say the same thing when I don’t feel like fixing something on the spot
- future me will fix it
Hey Mike I def wanna see how and what you do for lighting on your skid steer , love the content man !!
Try a canvass bag which will mold to your body and a lot more comfortable. I think your logic is good so never stop trying to improve things like Toyota "Kaizen" continuous improvement.
How do you feel about your neighbor draining the water to your property? (Black corrugated pipe) 3:30

Goooooood morning, Mike!
I'm just watching you're video right now 👍its -21 and it's cold up here Northern Ontario Canada
Nice video... Thanks Mike.👍
Great video and don't forget to breath! Your family needs you! Stay safe! Peace
West Covina Cal.in the house my brother ,stay safe out there.
Mike check your door latch’s for that dome light sometimes the pressure switch go bad
Keep em coming Mike. Good vid.
Remember you can record in any public place that’s open to public and the post office has a poster #7 that also tells you can I enjoy your videos
Great work Mike loves these videos
The state started running green strobes a couple years ago around here, now every private plow truck on the road has em.
All right, all right it is what it is
The slings you get with stihl weedeaters work wonders for that!
Pretty slick video 🫡
Great video I enjoyed it very much keep up the good work
dome light strong possiblity push button when door open and closes is sticking or wore out, 8.00 doalar fix , pry out unplug plug new in push back in slot or hole ur done
I'm glad you've got the heated seat , nice 👍👍👍💯❤️
I seen you running around on Ryan's channel.lol
Green strobe lights cause less accidents for the motoring public in my opinion during a storm
My 2005 Silverado cab lights do that. I gotta hit the round interior button but head light switch few times n goes off
Here in Des Moines area or state of IA for that matter, DOT plow trucks have white and blue strobe lights
You need a rear blade on a truck to make it worth it.. one like a 16 ft swing wing controlled by a clutch pump not electricity
That heated seat is the only way you’ll ever have a hot hind end! 😂
Checking in from Louisiana, and whatever we did to piss the northern states off- we deeply apologize. Y’all can take this 20-30° weather back 😂😂
It’s negative 10 right now haha 😂
@@AMWSERVICESLLC yall can keep that foolishness up north 😂😂😂😂
Awesome video
Great video
good video can i just say plz can you do more real time snow plowing
Get it Mike 💪
For the bucket
Get a good rifle sling with so Clips should work just make sure it's a strong sling maybe even a little padding
Mike for Wisconsin Governor 2026 !
Worked this storm all week and I am excited to say my back is officially broken for the hours I spent in my skiddy and loader
Theyre all switching to green strobes because some study found that green strobes are the brightest and stand out more than other colors
You might need to dim down the dashboard light switch could cause the dome light to stay on
It is a new thing for municipalities with the green lights. They are the only ones that can use them. It is to make the plows more visible.
Here in Canada green lights mean volunteer firefighters.
@@613rob Where I live they have green color on fire department equipment. It signify the command of the truck.
The door switch is most likely stuck/bad just got figure out which one it is and swap it out.
I will dare say I prefer AMW SERVICES than many other of my subscribed channels 👍🏽💪🏽
Green strobes are very popular now here in Ohio. I think the state did a study on it found green strobes can be seen easier
Is using "borrowed" in place of "lend" a common thing for WI folk? Just a curious question :)
Yup
💯👍🏼 Albuquerque New Mexico in the house land of the famous documentary Breaking Bad with support
You should use the scott lawn spreader
Maybe put the eyelets at the top of the bucket not completely opposite of each-other. This will keep the bucket upright and should allow you to reach in. After a while you might want a ratchet strap to distribute the weight on your shoulder.
-45°C at my house today in Alberta, Canada lol which is-49°f
Enjoyed the video Mike but I was disappointed you didn't show Fred!!!!!
Great video! I miss the intro though, that’s one of my favorite parts of your videos.
It’s -45 here in Alberta right now and we just got dumped with a ton of snow
If Earnie from Sesame street were a person…
Green is better in fog or mist more visible then any other colour lights
I live in Alabama and all our county trucks have green strobes on them around me
i wish wee got 5 degrees in scotland lol
