Now, young voters in Wisconsin are shifting away from supporting Biden after casting ballots in his favor in the last presidential election. #Politics #Elections

Fortunately I was actually alive and paying attention at the time. Reagan inherited an economy from the Carter administration with inflation in the double digits, unemployment the worst we had seen in years, and gas lines that went literally out onto the streets and around city blocks. Our military was in shambles. It was literally a laughing stock. It was so bad under Carter the media coined a new phrase called the “misery index”. Reagan was the one who turned things around.
PS: I just did a quick google search of the inflation rate in 1988, at the end of Reagan’s term. It was back down to a manageable 4%.

These young people will come to their senses when they actually start contributing to society with labor and tax dollars. I used to be idealistic. But then when I write a check for $45,000 for federal income taxes last year, all of these agendas that they have from climate change to whatever becomes a harder pill to swallow. It’s easier for them to spend other peoples money right now because they’re not contributing much. When they will, they will become more conservative. I’m 44 so I’m not far removed from them.
