Probably one of the best visual presentation in a boss battle in the video game history. Constantly switching between A2 and 9S is so perfect and smooth.
My greatest regret in life is knowing I'll never be able to experience this game, esp this fight, for the first time again.. GOD I love this game so much
True the first time I played this I was at the edge of my seat just witnessing and switching from character to character faster and faster. Watching and hearing the vocals kick in at the right moment till finally the character merges and I’m like yeahhh an ally just like old times with 2b and 9S and then when it went static and switches from A2 to 9s I’m like OH SHIT!!!

This fight is an absolute masterclass in design, scale, and environment. The way the music, slowly rises after each transition, getting louder and louder. Truly one of the best fights in gaming period.
man this fight was the only time my framerate went to shit playing this game somehow it didn't mess up my gameplay too badly, actually made it more intense as it was a boss fight for my old 970 too
Sooo my game glitched and i never switched back to a2 and this was my first time fighting him so i just kept hitting him with 9s for like 15 min wonderig why the game was punishing me.
I'm still remembering the first time that I played this part. I was so atonished with the switching and the music. In my case, I was focused on incresing the levels so, when I played this part my team were in so high level that for me the switching was so quicly and it made a better experience in gameplay. There were so much things happened at the same time... Awesome.
This was honestly the coolest set piece in the whole ass game. damn shame this was the only time they used the concept of switching characters like this in the whole game. like I was gigling like a kid through the whole thing sounding like "ohohohohohoooo this is soo-ho-ho cooool"
the pods don't share the same cast time meaning once you used a pod's ability, you can quickly change to another pod and do that pod's ability right after

then finally fighting them combined you think OH this is just like how 2b and 9s fought the twins but NOPE you switch to 9s and the fight goes on

The change between fighting on land with A2 and fighting on air with 9S is so beautifully executed.

How did you get that A2 animation between 5:20 and 5:30?
It's the taunt only A2 can do, you just have to hold down your melee attack button to do it

you dont need any items to beat this level, the enemies drop plenty of items

bruh this guy annoys me... Really good at on-foot fighting but sucks at hacking and flying. Nice combo skills though.
