Another banger to listen to an unhealthy amount of times
Honestly, singing aside, both of you could be voice actresses. Those lines between the music were so well spoken.
This cover is just so good. I saw it on Spotify at 1AM and decided to give it a listen. I ended up listening to it a few times before going to bed. Then the next day it gets uploaded to CZcams. I immediately give it another few listens on CZcams.
This cover made me want to watch the Anastasia movie to see how this song fits into the story. Imagine my disappointment when the movie ends but the song hasn't played yet. It turns out it's from the musical, so I give the original broadway cast version and Annapantsu's cover a listen. They're both good, but Reinaeiry's cover just seems more magical.
There's something about this cover that I find so much better than the others. The instrumentals just sound better. They're more present but don't detract from the vocal? Especially when the triangle chimes in. The ringing adds a certain sparkle to the song. Reinaeiry's voice is just so good to listen to and it fits so naturally in the song. Both Reinaeiry and Chloe sang this so well. It honestly sounds like a conversation is happening between them, and the harmonizing just sounded better than even the original.
Maybe I'm biased because I like whatever Reinaeiry sings, but this is definitely the best cover of this song including the original recording.
This popped up in my recommendations a few weeks ago, and after having it in my history for a while I finally decided to check it out. This is the first time I've heard this song, but this is now the definitive version for me.
