This is brilliant! So much easier than wrangling a whole quilt top on the diagonal. Thanks Kimberly!🎉

Hi! Greetings from freezing cold Canada! It’s -20 and we just had a snowstorm blow in the other day 🥶 New here and trying to binge watch videos from lots of the Moda designers! I watched one of your other videos and just fell in love with this fabric collection! It’s in my cart! Love watching your videos, all you ladies and gents are so informative, thanks for all you do!

Your cheater sheets are invaluable. Thanks for passing all this info on. You are a lifesaver to a new (or old) quilter. Cheers

Oh I am sending a huge thank you for this video! I love that FQS gives us the sheets to print and keep in our binders as a cheater sheet without the math headache. When I find a bundle I fall in love with, I can order and know you'll ship it out asap, and I can refer to this sheet to whip up a quilt in a day. Love it! Thank you. Thank you.

I just pulled my fabric but I chose shades of red. I am going to use different Santa head patterns designed for embroidery off of pinterest to put in center instead of a solid square. Thank you Kimberly for motivating us.

I really like all the videos you do, but I do enjoy the designers and learning their processes! One of the best things, I think you do Kimberly, is during the videos when you show blocks done with different fabric lines. Sometimes I have a problem deciding which line to use and when I see the examples from your videos it helps me to make a decision! Thank you for all you do!

When I do blocks on point I cut the setting triangles larger like you did in the video, but when I trim them down I leave more than a quarter inch seam. I use your poke a pin method, but sometimes they don't come out perfect like yours do. By trimming the blocks just a little bit more than a quarter inch I don't risk cutting off the points of the block when I sew the seams. I like the way the blocks look like they are floating and I don't have to worry about not having nice points. Barb Drummond

I guess there isn’t a Minnick & Simpson line that I don’t love. This fabric is beautiful! I especially like this on-point idea for unusual quilt layouts when you might want to create something different from the usual three-across, four-down. Thanks, Kimberly!

I would rather set the block on point than sewing all these setting triangles onto my blocks, but nonetheless, nice idea! Kind of what I had to do when sewing your Balcony quilt pattern from the Sew Sampler Box, even if the pattern used pieced setting triangles.

Not sure why it’s called “cheater” block. Now I’m curious as to what the non cheater way is….I’m always looking to make thing the way the “quilt police” require.
But seriously, I’ve never heard this is “cheating”. It’s just a different method of assembly, in my mind.
