2024 Cross-country Overland, part 1: East Colorado

In July 2024, my good friend Charlie and I set off from Miami, Florida, aiming to reach Trinidad, Colorado. Our plan was to travel to the Pacific Ocean in Oregon via the Trans America Trail. After a quick, two-day, 2000-mile race to Trinidad, we began our off-road adventure, overlanding and camping along the way, avoiding paved roads where possible. This is part one: Trinidad to Hayden Pass.
