I'm sure most have heard the various counter-arguments - that 'virgin' meant young unmarried woman, that verse 'his brothers' causes havoc, etc. But yes, logic alone tells us that if Eve was a co-enabler (for want of a better word) of sin into the world, then Mary had to undo all her sins, and be one-up better. In particular, that means not giving in to temptation and vanity. The sub-title in brackets says "Mary did you know?". That is actually a song, Protestant although well-meaning. It shows their lack of understanding of these theological issues. They still treat Mary as "just another woman", the idea being "any one will do" i.e. nothing special. How does one even start to explain?
