  • Sawadee khap! How are we all diddling, my farangutans & puan puan khun Thai? I ain't so well. Got a bit of the old, dreaded lurgies. Anyway, most weekends I actually do a bit of cooking. This Sunday was no exception. I decided to make Cooking Up Love's Award-Winning Chili Recipe. I have made it before and... it's spot on. The original is perhaps a little too hot for me. I have had the original, but I have adapted the recipe slightly with less chili powder and NO CELERY!!!
You should visit COOKING UP LOVE. There are some great cooking videos there and full credit to the creator in this instance. Hey, I'm just following their instructions. You can find the original here:

You'll have to go there for the ingredients. You'll find the method in the video, and I do go through how much you need in terms of ingredients too. I put in two tsp of chili powder to four TBSP!!! of chili. I also put in pink Himalayan rock salt as that's what I have in and a Thai brand of Worcester sauce.
I suggest a visit to Tops, Gourmet or Villa supermarkets for the main ingredients. You will be hard pressed getting all the herbs and spices in Big C say or Lotus's if you are making this in Thailand.
Again, thanks COOKING UP LOVE. I can now have a decent chili in Thailand and, for all you viewers, please like share and subscribe. Give that bell a tinkle too!
Suno ai for music! I'm still plugging it.
