Jazz Duets amazing!
Towards the end, I can feel my soul oozing out of my body
Philip Yeboah killing it on vocals as always!!
his brother is no slouch either!
Reharm #5 went right to the soul. Thanks for this video!!
With so many videos to choose from on the interwebs, it's a tribute to your hard work that so many come here to watch yours! Thank you from Chicago!
Thanks Pepe. I do not know why but I thought you were a Londoner!
Must be my accent ;-)
I did not hear you though. It was the look! ha!
3:04 : Eb-/F plus gorgeous voice = Stevie wonder docet 😀
At first I found the song boring until you reharmonized it and loved it
The singer is mesmerising ♥️😍
The lesson is awesome too..!
4 gave me whiplash it was so good
Totally blown away by the vocals and harmonizations. Amazing stuff 👍
That C7 GbMaj7 DbMaj7 Ab2 F11, secret sauce right there! YummY!
Those flats in there! Whoosh...sweep u away! Love u, bro! God bless you!
Do you know what happens at this moment ? I find it beautiful but I can't explain why it works
They are from him. Our God, the father, son of man, the holy spirit, that died a criminals death on the cross for our sins so that we can be saved, Jesus Christ. There is no greater love.
@@Johncowk. I don’t know if this is what you are asking but here’s some of my own crude analysis. I think a major aspect that makes this line so emotional is first of all that high vocal F which runs throughout that chord change and then leads naturally to the F11. That F is the major 7 of the G flat, the major third of the D flat and the major 6 of the A flat terminating in the root of the F11.
And some technical notes, that G flat major 7 appears to be (?) a tritone sub of the preceding C dominant (although tritone subs are most often just dominant chords themselves). And then from, there you essentially just have an ascending line of 5ths (descending 4ths) to the D flat and A flat. The chord progression itself is not too unusual. But the context of the key signature in which it is happening might be unusual. I think the big attraction here is that vocal F and how it fits within the structure of those chords which creates some interesting dissonances and resolutions.
I’m not an expert at theory so would be interested to hear other thoughts and corrections on my analysis.
Absolutely love the reharms, voice and video.

Wow. Thank You.
I wish I could harmonize the way you did it. Thank you for sharing this.
Great harmonisations , wonderfully sang ! Ear candy, thank you Nick ! :)
Correction 1:00 the roman symbol should be V not I of course. To err is human! Which is good as someone recently commented saying that Jazzduets was AI! I can assure you no.
Jazz Duets what are the notes and intervals in G11 chord? thanks for posting great job God loves you deeply
Hi! I think there's another little mistake in the note of bar 13 in 3rd reharm: the Em7b5 should be Bb7 sub, not C7
The E-7b5 is substituting for the C7 as it commonly does.
The step by step tutorial goes in to this in detail.
@@JazzDuets aw I'm sorry! you're right, I thought it as a tritone sub :/
@Mike James
Wow! Your voice and your harmonization are wonderful! Thanks very much for sharing that stuff. Lotta love!
