今月4月末に発売予定のCD『Akio Hasumi　Solo Guitar Collection vol.1』の録音のために今回2本のマイクを選んでみました。どちらも素晴らしいマイクでしたので、今回参考動画を作ってみました。どちらが良いとか悪いとかの個人的感想、評価はあえて、書きません。皆さんの耳で聞いてみてください！

i own both of these mics. as with 90% of these "shootouts" the difference is so miniscule that no one can really tell.
but that doesn't stop everyone from offering their expert crap opinions.
if this was a blind test and the mics were randomly switched, no one could guess over 50%.
don't fret over mics, practice your instrument.

I agree with questioning the mic position. I also see a difference between the mic placement at that position. The Rode appears to be turned more towards the rear of the guitar.

Rode 0:29, AKG 2:03 Start. High notes - Rode 0:57, AKG 2:31, Med notes - Rode 1:15, AKG 2:51

AKG deeper and clear,Rode midrange boosted/highs,missing the low end

In comparison, the Rode sounded like it had a styrofoam cup around it. AKG sounded more natural to me.

The Akg seemed to pickup more finger squeaks propably due to its extended frequency response. Both fine mics The rode is less money

0:29: RODE는 시원하고 기타의 현이 살아나는 소리, 공명이 있는 느낌을 줍니다. 강연용으로는 조금 시원한 느낌을 줄 수 있다고 봅니다.
2:04 AKG는 부드럽고 따뜻합니다. 그래서 조금 무겁게 또는 답답하게 들릴 수도 있습니다. 강연을 오래 하면 청중이 답답하게 들릴 수 있는지 모르겠습니다.

akg sounded better overall but it had some annoying frequency in the low mids

Yes since it has 5dB of self noise..man how could a 250-300$ mic have 5dB of self noise!! that's really amazing
But there is something i can't understand..there are so many expensive mics with relatively high self noise that could be around 13 dB

AKG mic placement is wrong and Im sure it can give way better sounding , I have been using it for last 2 years now !

Mic positioning is odd, not to say wrong. Due to the "positioning", the AKG (rather sibilant mic) seems to sound better.
In real world, any engineer will position every mic to sound perfect on the particular setup.
If Gitakio would do that I am sure both mics would sound great (in this record both sounds horrible to my year).

I'm a huge Rode fan to the point that I got rid of my 2 TLM 102's as the cost of them did not equal the quality of sound. Having said that I'm a fan of AKG too. They sound very similar to me (I would have had the mics placed slightly different though. It's a draw from me.

I tested the NT1 vs the tlm102 and they have the same character, cannot tell the difference in the mix at all. I kept the NT1.

This is a rather odd microphone positioning. Something more towards the sound hole or the fretboard would be more appropriate to pick up the attack of the strings.
