Dont think that you should be removing the earth worms from the soil. They actually serve an important purpose by loosen mixing and oxygenate the soil. They channel the soil that help with water observing. Whereever there is earth it means the soil is good.

Hello Charlow Kush , I looked at your soil and I can see that the soil is too , too dence . When you pick up your soil it is supposed to easily sift through your fingers like wet sand . If the soil does not fall through your fingers like wet sand how can small tinder plants push through that heavy soil ?
You are going to have to lighten the weight of the soil by rototilling it which is rotating and mixing it with sand and ash. Mix it one part each of soil ,sand , and then ash

Actually, mrenda ( jute leaves/jews marrow/egyptian spinach) is eaten in east, west, and central Africa. I first came across jute leaves in the usa being sold in asian markets, and philipinos call it seluyot. I now grow my own (spring/summer), but I have learned something from Linet as to how not to bury the seeds too deeply for better germination.

My brother Kush... you've got a great show. Great content, me and my family (Wife and 4kids) follow both you and your wife and I'm so proud to have found an African CZcamsr whom we relate so much with. Just one piece of advice... I think you'd do better if you talked less and some slides you just put in a background song and let it roll. You overshare the information almost to say you talk a lot and it's too difficult to keep up with you. Consider that.

I was watching your vlog today and I saw that almost all of the healthy plants that you ,Lynette , and your mom planted are dying. You soil is too ,too dence . You are going to have to mix lots of sand in your soil . When you pick up a hand full of soil it should easily fall through your fingers. Growing plants can not force their way through the soil the soil must be light weight enough to easily grow. Cow or goat poo mixed with hay or straw , sand along with water and sun should grow everything. Just add the sand straw , the poo and the water and you should have plenty of vegetables.
