- This is a little suggestion guide on ways to decorate your lair with the unstoppable forces of metal and punk. This could be with posters, dead hookers, or stickers on your face. Sometimes these "uplifters" can be found upon the simple act of buying physical albums and going to concerts to get your head crushed by the likes of John Tardy and George Fischer. You’re right about the shirts. I have some shirts that don’t fit me very well anymore. But what I do is I hang them on my wall when I don’t wear them, it’s basically like posters then.

Einsammerwulf Derutlagin not really. Dave has red hair with bangs, not to mention kinda wrinkly cause he’s old. According to him, he doesn’t have any of those traits. He and I actually think he looks more like weird al yankovic. Wavy brown hair, similarly shaped eyebrows, oddly shaped nose (this is coming from him too btw) so there’s the new thing that’s gonna be all over the comment section. I just realized what I have done.

Also Killbot, brah, I recommend paying the extra money to get your posters professionally framed, because they can put UV resistant glass in the frame to protect your precious memories from the sun and get a frame that perfectly suits your poster! P.S come to wacken

WOW! I see you have a copy of CHOOSING DEATH. About 80% of the flyers in that book are from my personal collection. Rich Hoak was working at Relapse when he told Albert about all my flyers. He called me up one day and told me his idea about the book. I still find it hard to believe I made such a contribution to persevere the history of the underground by simply just keeping pieces of paper around for years and years and years!!!

You really don’t like Metal, Punk, Crust, Hardcore, or Industrial!? Those are just a few of the main genres of Heavy Music. I’m sure if you listened to some of the bands that encompass those genres which are also a large portion of what Killbot listens too and makes videos on, that you would find something you would like. If you like bass heavy music like hip hop, I know there are Industrial bands you would love. Not too mention Heavy Music is the ultimate tough music!

I am definitely jealous of your Ghoul poster that’s on the door! I love the artwork! I own the same Carcass poster and I must say it is a beauty! I also have to agree with you that most people that buy merch from shows only get t-shirts but I tend to go with posters because they will outlive any old shirt. Now that’s not to say that I don’t purchase band shirts when going to shows I just prefer to pick a good poster when I see something that really catches my eye. Great collection by the way! I'm with you on the horror movie thing! I mean, metal and horror are practically equivalents. I also have a lot of tattoo model posters in my room. Actually, most of my "posters" are just pages ripped out of magazines.

Evil Dead 2 is also my second favorite movie of all time. Any Self Respected Metalhead should have an Evil Dead 2 poster framed and hanging on there wall. Also, that Ghoul poster kicks ass! I definitely need to get a Ghoul poster for myself!💪🏻🤘🏻😎

Ive been working on my room design since 2001. Now it is INSANE. So many show flyers, CD inserts,vinyl inserts,Horror Film posters.ect.

what do you mean posters i just print out all kind of metal pictures i like and make my full wall being metal (its put on with tape)

I put a picture of post malone and paul McCartney and john lennon on my wall. I just printed them out and just used tape i thought it was weird of me doing that, so i asked my dad if he did it when he was younger and he said he used to do it all the time.

Hey man a way to make your CDs cooler is to put them in 50 caliber ammo cans. They only cost 20 bucks, they look cool and they can each hold around 33 albums, and then you can paint the cans or put stickers on them
Will you do a video going through your CDs?
Maybe way later, but the CD collection is so small that there wouldn't be a lot to say. Plus, CDs are so lifeless compared to vinyl because you rip 'em into iTunes then they sit and do nothing. At least with records it's more interactive, that's why I mostly talk about records. I do integrate some of the CDs into random videos I do (see also "Skinny Puppy: Vinyl, CDs, Pressing Problems").

I recently went to a local record store and bought Yield(Pearl Jam) on vinyl. I liked that it came with a yield sign sticker. I put it on my laptop(I wanted to put it on my bass, but I didn't want it to get covered up by other stickers that I'll eventually put on it.)
DONT. USE. TAPE.
It'l tear up the wallpaper, and if its a paper poster, it has a higher risk of tearing. Use thumb tacks or multi tack instead
If you don't have a frame and when I didn't I would tape it to some cardstock or cardboard and nail the cardboard to the wall instead of the actual poster. :)

When I was young and still living at Home, the walls of my basement room were covered with a gigantic collage of music posters, ticket stubs, playlists, and intricately arranged musicians I'd cut out of Circus/Hit Parader/Creem mags with plenty of room to keep my instruments out and easily accessible. Then the other wall covered with Skateboarded mag pictures/posters. Quite an impressive work of art IMHO. Unfortunately, a house fire the late 80s took it all out. GOD, I miss my Humble Rat Hole so much! Wife/Kids/Suburban house with no basement just isn't as fun. sigh...
