  • Tutorial: Learn how to get common TFT LCD displays working with Teensy or Arduino. Shown is how to use these SPI displays with Arduinos and Teensy. Wiring, code, and a short example using a 2.8 inch TFT is included. Whether you use the Adafruit_ILI9341 or ILI9341_t3 libraries, hopefully this lesson will help you get your display working.

    if a lcd display says 5v then all the sdl sca pins use 5v and vice versa?

      really depends on the display. Some accept 5v0 on Vcc but have an onboard regulator for power and data pins *should* be 5 volt tolerant. If the display has an SD card some mfg's put series resistors to protect the card. you can always use a voltage divider for data lines if the display has issues

      @@taranagnew436 Card readers run on 3V3, most displays are 3V3 as well. Depending on the display they may have level shifters or resistors to drop the voltage to a safe level.
