- Things aren't looking great for Monk when his half-brother escapes from prison and ends up breaking into his apartment. On a positive note, Monk's half-brother does unintentionally help Monk solve his latest case!

Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

There’s one other thing that Monk forgot to mention: SHIV’S DEATH. When Reese saw that his plan failed, Reese was afraid that Shiv might say something regarding the escape attempt. So, Reese killed Shiv to prevent him from saying anything. 😉

From what I have seen they were plenty safe to run to the car get in and drive off this dude runs the stormtrooper school of aiming
Easy prison to run from. No guard in there could hit anything!
At the end of the episode, the prison guard once again shows that he is a very terrible shot; Monk, Jack Jr and Natalie continuously run for cover yet out of 100 rounds he doesn’t hit anyone.

I want to say this guy is a crazy bad shot, but given how fast he fires (at Monk and crew and at the prison) and misses so much (while also firing near their feet) it's like he's just a great shot who's missing on purpose.
Monk just solved the case because his Half bro is a klepto never would have solved it without that watch being handed to him.
If not taken then finded where it was before and solved much earlier,thats why dislike.
