O’Malley should have left the hairdresser skit for Ariel, I feel like he would have appreciated it more
I don’t think it’s that planned
It doesn't even seem like a skit.
Skit? The man is just legitimately getting his hair done. There’s no skit about it. You think he’s planning his 2 hour hair appointment around when he’s on interviews?
interview is 10 minutes, his hair takes 4 hours to complete. definitely has done his hair on ariel’s show before
He’s already done it with Ariel
This is the fight I'm most excited about seeing in the near future. Even if Sean loses, if he makes a good accounting of himself his stock will go up but if he wins.....sky is the limit, we all got a front row seat to see if he is about to be the next superstar. Moments like these are the reasons most people watch the UFC. Best of luck kid!
Well said
Yeah Suga really has nothing to lose. He’s not undefeated even tho in his mind he is haha. But even if he’s competitive then it will be a great showing since the step up in competition is massive fighting yan. The last step up in competition we saw was against chito and Pedro. Lost to chito and then Pedro he didn’t look that impressive and ended in a weird way, honestly Pedro is a warrior but it seemed he wanted a way out in that fight imho but Suga didn’t look that impressive but yan is a massive step up and if he beats yan then mannn he will blow up to the moon in popularity.
How fast sentiments change 😂
Totally agree but he's 27, not a kid.

This is a perfect fight for him absolutely perfect. if he goes and puts Yan,s lights out he becomes instantly everything he has portrayed he is.
Wow if Sean beats a top ranked guy he is legit you’re a genius

I’ve never been on the Sean train but I do hope he wins this one.
With his reach and movement I think he's gonna be landing. But its the leg kicks and the trips from Petr that could cause some trouble for him.
Especially with Sean’s paper ankle
lol back with that narrative
@@DuffmaneB it does get blown out of proportion but it’s the same with the narrative petr is a slow starter. Petr being a slow starter cost his one single fight his entire career and that was aljo. But just like with that narrative and the Sean has weak legs there is still some truth to both narratives even if they get blown way out of proportion by commentators and fans. Sean does seem injury prone to the legs and this has occurred even in fights he’s won, and with his movement and the length he fights at and with the issues he’s had in the past it’s not a dumb thing to target his legs just like petr does take the first round to gauge speed and timing and make reads before heating up so in a 3 rounder it’s smart to try and overwhelm him and put on volume the first 2 rounds to try and take a decision before he inevitably has made his downloads and reads and starts smoking and obliterating you later in the fight.
@@worldview6218 yans gonna start fast in 3 rounders. He has done that in all his 3 round fights

I've never heard a "superstar" talk about being a star as much as this guy. Lol

@@cindyheier3733 Are you saying people get bigger and denser with age? You should write a book.
@@derekgill5953 no in all sports that have weight cutting its harder for the athlete with heavier or taller frames for their weightclass to keep making the weightcut as they get older and by old i dont mean very old just late twenties to thirty.dont need to write a book just look at the history of boxing and mma for evample most people know this.
@@cindyheier3733 he's 27 I'd get if he was 22 or something but the guy has his frame. Unless he makes a clear effort in getting bigger I think he can stay 135 if he walks around 160. The man has his regime in place and is super healthy. I think 135s is his spot.

Sean has a solid chance in this. His attributes fit this match up very well. It’s just a matter of how quick he gets going and if the mid way into the 2nd round he keeps out of range. Yan is a slow starter or as people say “he’s downloading”.
There’s a lot of fan boys picking “their guy” but objectively this could be a really fun fight that any guy can win.
i wouldn't say "Solid" but i do see a path to victory for him. On paper.
Sean has maybe a 15% chance just based on the fact he could get lucky and land a stray that KO’s someone .
@@bridgelaurie9490 it’s a 3 round fight and Sean statistically lands over 2 more strikes per min and at a higher accuracy than yan too. Its got good potential to be Sean by decision

Lol, I was expecting O'Malley to say something snarky when DC asked if they could do anything with his bald head considering their past Twitter quarrel.
Getting sparked clean out?
love sug
DC asking if people want him to lose because of how fast he has risen. In all honestly, O'Malley has risen fairly slow, he may be making a big jump in from his level of competition but still pretty slow as far as time, McGregor fought for the title in 2 1/2 years, Moreno in 4 years, Chimaev has only been in UFC for 2 years and he'll be fighting for title soon whereas O'Malley has been in the UFC for almost 5 years and may fight for title soon if he wins.

I prefer Sean speaking as he has here - more humble, more about the actual climb, not ahead of himself, labelling himself as somehow the goat, or stroking his own ego. That will gain him yet more fans and people behind him. Cormier was his usual charming, classy self, always trying to give back and offer advice.
When this fight was first announced I had Yan winning but the closer it gets the more I'm leaning towards O'Malley. Not a O'Malley fan but the guys a good fighter. After seeing aljo take it to Yan on the feet in the second fight I think O'Malley could piece him up

He won't be on Conor's level. He just doesn't have the personality to captive people regardless of his fighting. Sure he can become big. But Conor is just a different level.
