Here in the phillipines there is an asian ariwana in my local petshop and it was just for 1200 philipine peso. I tought that it was expensive until i saw this, thinking of buying an ariwana.
Yup, there are cheap and expensive arowanas. You gotta explore :)

New subscriber! I love your videos! Your tanks are great and you're good at asking politely for permission to record a video, e.g the "Plant Van" episode. Please do a shop tour of the awesome fish shops we have here in Singapore, from the high end to the awesome neighbourhood ones. Have like a dedicated 20-25 minute comprehensive store coverage or run through per episode (name of shop/location on map etc so we viewers can visit). For example Fishy Business, the owner is Roger Goh. He just placed 4th this year in the IAPLC which is a HUGE deal (he placed 11th in two consecutive years internationally prior also). Maybe get an interview?
Shops like Aquatic Avenue, Green Chapter etc to the awesome huge ones like Seaview aka Nanyang Trading Aquarium Pte Ltd. I mean, I didn't even know Natura Aquatics existed before your video! At Clementi Blk 328, there are 5 fish shops alone, one more just opened there last month. Your channel could help "spread the word" and keep the hobby going. It would be awesome if you could visit some fish farms as you did also. My two cents worth. I think you've got talent and this channel will continue to grow! Thanks for reading!

Hi there! Is the store an extension of the farm or is it in another area? I think these prices are great and I will definitely visit them when I return to Singapore Jan 2020. I have my CITES application form and all I have to do is to buy a couple to be shipped to Canada. Of course, the farm has to work on the export papers and have the fish chipped before I fill up the Canadian CITES form. I do hope that the store could sell me just 2 instead of 12 which is, I believe a minimum number to export. I am just a hobbyist and not an agent or a wholesaler. Fingers crossed! Great vid BTW!
Good videos , the tanks they were selling are kind of tacky in my opinion I would prefer just a blue or black background to give it a more clean look. Keep the videos coming. I would like to see your arowana again :)
Thanks, yes, I prefer a simple black color background. Here in singapore, we use this sticker called oyama sticker to stick on the back of the tank

Malaysia Golden Blue/Green/purple Based Arowana.. usually we call MGBB. The best MGBB came from Bukit Merah in Malaysia. Seldomly people call Asia gold based

Yes, tap water in singapore is harmful for fish. You need anti chlorine

Bro, I got my Arowana from the same farm. Similar price range as yours but it became outstanding when it grow big! Some ppl even ask me what did I do etc. haha.
Moral of the story is.. Don't judge the fish quality based on the price tag. It also depends on how the keeper take good care for his fishes.
Trust me yours look stunning and it is even better than mine when I bought it :)

I’d say red tail golden or 1.5 red arowana.

That law is obsolete now, it was used to protect the fish. Now there are so many breeders need. Ot protect it anyymore.
