As a “rest of Asia” person, in my opinion East Asia provides better entertainment but in terms of food and culture the rest of Asia is generally more unique and better
Edit: let me rephrase it a little better, I shouldn’t have used the word “better” the key word is unique, East Asian cuisine has been popularised to a point where it’s easily available almost anywhere and therefore making it a more common flavour, of course the cuisine there is also exceptionally good but it terms of rarity and adventurous food to try other parts of Asia is a good choice
