5:30 yeah it does feel like it. I'd say 3/4, but is essentially almost the same. It does give it the "ballroom dance" feeling, considering 3/4 is waltz's bread and butter.
Undertopia is one of my fav songs, very relaxing. (Also love that the melody is very similar/inspired by the main menu theme (?), I've never seen anybody say that detail, so maybe I'm mishearing or smth, but imo it does sound like it)
Very well could be the same motif, yeah. I would definitely have never made the connection myself but i wouldn't be surprised if that was done
