I would not blame Kinsler for getting thrown out while trying to score. Bellinger made a PERFECT throw from the outfield.

I was lucky enough to be at the game and I've never ever seen anything like this! Absolutely unbelievable! This video doesn't do the play justice. The crowd went absolutely insane.
I've coached baseball for many years, I put so much emphasis on outfielding......this is an example why!!
@Michael Park yup so true. Example:Reds Eric Davis won a game in Chicago years ago with his insane outfielding skills. It's the game where he crashed into brick wall.

The throw by Bellinger was amazing, but I think the play by Barnes at home plate was even better!
Mad respect to Barnes for holding on. Kinsler should have hit him harder but he didn't know the throw was so spot on. what a play!

Why does everyone hate joe buck
Because he criticizes both teams that are playing. He doesn't root for any team. He is just being objective by criticizing and praising what it deserves to be praised. Fans are used to the local announcers who never criticize the local team.

@@terrytyler3139@ben brown you are spot on. Smart players get thrown out by awesome throws from the field all the time. It's like trying to dodge a perfectly aimed rifle. Not gonna happen. Third base coach committed him also. And Bellinger was off target to the third base side. If he's off by more than another foot toward third, Kinsler is safe cuz Barnes can't reach him for the tag. If he gets it to Barnes at home, maybe Kinsler smashes him and the ball comes loose. We will never know. That's what makes baseball so awesome!
Ben Brown hell bengie Molina and Bob brenly went extra bases provided by hitting towards the wall lol. both were slower than molasses. so even a tortoise like kinsler can get extra bases as long as the hits are deep. you need to be quiet lol

He should’ve slid. The throw was respectable but not that good. Barnes had to jump to grab the ball and Kinsler easily could have slid under him
Didn't see barnes jump at all. Throw was good enough. He couldn't slide without getting out the base path that's why there was contact between the two. Just stop hating and accept the loss.
