@@EshiJay Please do! Palisade UTC and LUX are the best in this area. But because it is near UCSD and there are many rich international students here, the rent is higher than luxury apartments in other areas.
Simone mail room ornamentation/stone work is of an Italian marble small stones where they are mixed together with something like concrete or something similar in mix and sanded down with a machine that shoots out water to reduce rock dust, and finally buffed which bring out the shine of the marble that you normally see of marble buffed and sometimes you see will it in the post office on their floors or other buildings with brass metal that separate the marble stone if you did already know but just did not mention right at head here, so leaned about this design from an Italian friend home I worked on as a teenager, nice right and a lot of work on enjoyment too. Simone is in little Italy right?
So that is why you that beautiful marble design in the mail room throughout and maybe other places too! I also, value your idea of having probably a with or silver window and door frame interior but the to provide a two tune exterior to match the outside from top to ground would have too expensive and time it would during manufacturing, but good call to point out. Please do not forget to tour West the next news luxury apartment building coming to the rental market in June 2024, which is right down the street from the Simone with a mix use(office space and retail).
I toured Simone but I’ll forever love 525 olive 😂 I think this building is pretty but whew! 4200$ for a 1b 1b is crazy idc! You can see my old apartment complex right across the way for 2895 ocean view! 1b 1b beautiful!

No sketchy situations we've ever faced! Love it downtown. There's unfortunately a homeless population, which is true with any major city, so you just have to be smart in those areas, but we have never had any issues!

If you haven't already, how about the Winslow in University Heights? Park and...I want to say Meade? Madison? Also, I feel like the one-bedrooms with those window walls are really just convertible studios. I think a legal bedroom has to have a window and somehow they've decided those window walls count!
Have not gone there yet! Seems nice from the website and pictures, and damn that pool 🤩. Not great Google reviews though :/.
@@EshiJay I don't remember where but I read a comment that someone walking by spotted someone on a balcony there doing something, um...very personal. Yikes! The thing I'm curious about is that the walls look textured in the pictures and their AI customer service wouldn't tell me if they actually are. Hard to hang things with command strips on textured walls.
Hi Eshi, other than relocating to San Diego why did u leave renaissance apartments. It has been my dream place to live. Now it’s not even showing up on Zillow? How was it to live there.
I've heard it's gone down the drain unfortunately. We thankfully moved before these issues, but apparently the elevators never work and there are other issues with the building/management too :(
Sheeesh good I bought in 2021 when intreast rates were low. Rents are more than my mortgage on my condo downtown nowadays. I don’t think we will ever see 2% intreast rates ever in California at least

Deciding between Radian and Diega, right now. What is a better location? Radian is $225 parking, what is the parking situation for Diega, is it pricey?
That's a hard choice, I think it's going to depend on your priorities. Radian is right next to gaslamp which is great, also has fantastic apartments. Diega wins in the amenities category though, and potentially the view depending on what you want. We just resigned at Diega and pay $100 for 1 designated spot parking. I don't think you could go wrong either way!
Radian parking went down to $175(single) when I spoke to an agent last week and the Radian has 80 units since opening almost 10 months ago so they have plenty of availability all the way up to the TOP floor!

I'm shocked on how much rent is. My mortgage was $700 a month (bought in 2008). I paid off my townhouse 3 Octobers ago. I feel like young adults are wasting their future on rent.
So glad you got that deal! Maybe you haven't been looking at the housing market, but there are so many areas where renting makes a lot more sense than buying right now, and San Diego is one of those areas!
@@EshiJay I agree with you. My sister lived in beautiful San Diego. Rent was crazy but houses were unaffordable. They ended up renting in Mira Mesa. Thank God for the Navy subsidy. DT would be cool to live for a young adult. Being able to walk to ballgames and comic con. We didn't have tickets to CC but just walking around seeing everyone dress up was cool.
