Oh my God! wooow! The Pianist is bad news! I Love his touch.. He is my Luminary, I am really blessed and motivated to get better at playing the board... God bless you Chad!
What worked for me was practicing 6 to 8 hrs a day but I think it's important to take formal lessons. Learning how to read music including chord charts, ear training, and Theory training is essential. I always started with scales, Hanon, Czerny (technique), brushing up on traditional and contemporary gospel, and taking common chord progressions and learning how to improvise over those progressions before advancing. Your local colleges should offer pretty good theory courses...GOD bless you.
Hallelujah! Beautiful and thank you! I had never heard of this hymn before today by the story behind the song and the title!! What a pleasant and fine blessing for me today!!!
One key is to always learn and practice new chords, progressions, scales, licks, etc. that take you on the journey towards the sound you want to have. Get it in parts small enough for you to digest and master. Put it in all keys. Work in half steps until you know each key well enough to transpose without sliding in half steps.
Well, there are modes you can practice to better understand chord structure and derive solo ideas. Also there are passages that he is playing that aren't necessarily difficult if you broke them down into baby steps. What you need to do is 1) find something you want to learn 2) Learn a part that is difficult 3) Practice it VERY SLOWLY NUMEROUS TIMES. When you do that your mind kinda fills in the blanks and what you've practiced is portrayed in your now increased ability.
So tasteful, I know this guy personally, and he is super humble. And very disciplined, he will never give u more than is necessary. But he is way sicker than what he displayed here. Just seasoned/cayenne pepper lol.. God bless u Chad.. my nigga..
i love these kind of playing and singing. love those passing chord and need to upload some of my videos too.... this dude is adventist so am i i rate that
This is the best demonstration of exellent piano accompaniment on this song ive ever heard....this brother plays beautiful...its a pity i can't seem to find any piano tutorial of this song by this brother
@ballas4ever This is not me playing It's a guy named Chad Brawley. In any case school or no school you've gotta practice, practice, practice. Then when your done with practicing you play for another four or five hours then practice again.
at 5:53 to :58 was nice progression from the D minor walk down in bace to the diminished was nice and suttle but still caused tension in the chord. I like him on keys very seasoned.
And...At least least learn the number system for chords (based on the major scale...1 chord, 2 chord, etc.) Don't worry about being deep in theory, just start where you are. You may become very deep one day or not. Just start an don't stop...if you really want it you can have it. From zero to hero, as it were.
However I think it's overplayed and the vocalists over sang. If you put too much Tomato sauce, the whole bottle for a plate of fewer fries 🍟 what do you get ?😢 Too many riffs and runs.
Greatest accompaniment of all time
This is the best piano accompanied version i have ever heard of this song ...this brother can seriously play
Chad is king🔥🔥

the vocals here are very good but the keyboard player is just crazy, God bless you all
no lie if she wasn't singing i wouldn't mind at all but she can sing but the piano playing had all of my attention
Praise God for the song. I thought this post was music only. The keyboardist needs to record this alone also. I enjoyed her also.
the pianist is male😂

2:45 - 3:08 that super dope.
Cedrick
I see why she sings with Kirk now. Not only does she matches the sound he has with Anaysha, Charmaine, & Nikki, however she is very anointed.
Excellent. The pianist overshadowed the beautiful vocalist through.

MR Controversial : if you're not a vocalists, you won't understand.
I do understand without being a vocalist
I understand that he took the lead
MR Controversial: .....then you don't understand.

Music and vocalist beautiful but lack the anointing
I strongly dislike! That is not christianity! That is not protestantism!!! You don`t know history of protestantism! :(
