X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse is an action role-playing game developed primarily by Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the follow up to 2004's X-Men Legends. It was first released in September 2005 for the GameCube, Microsoft Windows, N-Gage, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Xbox video game platforms. It is set after the events of X-Men Legends and features the mutant supervillain Apocalypse as the primary antagonist. - Hry

I remember buying Devil May Cry 4 on Ps3 and that was 1 of the first games to come out on that system. It looked fresh, so they have no real excuse for not doing these games right... Epic Fail..

Apocalypse looks much more imposing here than in X-men Apocalypse.

This game, MUA, and MUA 2 all enacted the same events that are happening in the movies right now...imagine if these games were released now. Sadly, developers don't seem to be interested in making many comic book inspired games these days...even movie tie-ins....
2019 new avengers game in coming. And MUA3 came out but unfortunately only for switch

The entire game is about characters bickering with each other.

also thought it would be cool of being able to send 2 teams at a time to missions. Being able to switch between the two teams. Travelling on the Blackbird, an XMen mini game at the Basketball court. Conversing with Moira and other allies in the War Room.
levelling up the medical lab so revival times of characters shortens based on its level.

Looking back, not having the X-Men and Brotherhood team up in the movie like they did in this game was a sign the Apocalypse movie was going to be a big letdown.
they should remaster legends 1 n 2 with new textures and stuff for new gens id buy it :)

Sean Alexander some of the bosses were taken from what was going to be X-Men Legends 3.
plans said Emma, Beast, Psylocke and Jubilee would return and Angel, Kitty, Havok, Forge, Kitty, Dazzler and Banshee, Cable (was an exclusive on PSP XL2) were to be added.
some of the villains would've been Deathbird, Silver Samurai, Arclight, Mojo, Spiral & The Hellfire Club. its possible the end result would've been Dark Phoenix with a returning Sinister.

Terrible movie, terrible plot and terrible script. It was terrible Jennifer Lawrence was the leader of the X-MEN, Wolverine had a blatant cameo since they knew the move couldn't stand on it's own, AND WORST OF ALL Apocalypse was horribly portrayed! He looked like a 5ft 8inch man with purple makeup. His power set was not that of the comics, he simply made things happen, without any explanation. He did not have size manipulation or cybernetic limbs. Bryan Singer created his own character of Apocalypse for this movie and completely ignored 30yrs of history. Apocalypse is, in my humble opinion, the greatest X-MEN villain of all time. This game with a few cinematic scenes was better than the Bryan Singer movie interpretation of Apocalypse. But to each there own...

Bring Back City of Heroes City of Villains, but incorporate the Marvel and DC universe in it. Thus, instead of playing a Hero or Villain that has already been created, we can be our own. Too bad DC and Marvel can't do a Joint Venture and bring this game back to the Market.

X-Men Legends 3: Mister Sinister
Stryfe and Mikhail Rasputin are arguably more powerful than Mr.Sinister and they were underbosses to Apocalypse. You have to aim for higher villains, like Onslaught, Vulcan or Dark phoenix.
Why not all three with Onslaught as the Big Main Baddie and maybe add Bastion

I thought the music from the First X-Men Legends was better than the second one. The second installment was good on the action side, but the score seemed camp.
