It's as if his flames have been extinguished after crying for a very long time and he has now become completely emotionless as stone. Maybe that's why he's a ground-type now
It is said that a Charmander will die if its fire goes out, and a Cubone wears it's mother's head and bones as remembrance and love for her, and when it evolves, the skull gets fused to its head... And in the ghost version of marowak it's fire burns because of the souls of its ancestors. Edit: y'all are making good points! I personally would say it's it's own species, or maybe an orphan kangastan. Y'all who are saying the fire is in its heart is, tbh ❤️🔥I like y'all's spirit
It's a crappy theory, it has no bearing on the game's lore. The Cubone wearing its mother's skull is also crap because this was purely localized for English versions because of the storyline in Red and Blue. The real translation says that Cubone wear the skulls of their ancestors for protection which they grow into as they evolve.
@diegoauala7888 the flame on its tail measures its vitality, if the pokemon grows weak, so does the flame. Also, a simple bucket of water wouldn't put its tail out, nor would submersion in water. The flame, at its healthiest, burns so intensely that it evaporates water.
I want them to incorporate this into the games, it's annoying that in 30 years they just didn't care to fix it. Have kangaskhan be without child until it breeds then when it has the egg or baby with it it gets a powerboost. Have kangaskhan revert into a Cubone after it faints 30 times or something. As it is now kangaskhan comes out of the egg with a child... so it can't be a child when they're the same age, it's just a multi headed abomination like eggxecute

When a charmander, charmelion, or charizard's flame on its tail goes out it dies. And for people who didint watch the anime IT LITTERALY SAYS IT IN THE POKEDEX
@@lucasguillemette1446 it would be a ghost type then, but Cubone ain't a ghost type. Plus the anime and the game itself mentioned the charmander dies when it's flames go out which means unless cubone is a ghost type, there is no way cubone is a dead charmander
Even though not canon it would kinda make sense. "A charmander is considered dead when its flame is out." Maybe the loss of their mother fills them up with so much grief that they physically die to the point of losing their typing, and then Marowak is the evolution where the Cubone (charmander) accepts the loss and begins anew amongst a childhood of loss.
The theory says after the baby hatches, the mother is the one who lights it's tail, bestowing the fire type to it, passing on the torch so to speak. The baby is born genetically sensitive to certain elements, particularly fire, which unlocks charmander genes when exposed to. Once the baby's tail is lit, it is fused with the fire type and becomes a charmander, and if that fire dies it dies with it because it's infused with it. If the mother dies before it is able to pass on the torch, the baby doesn't have the fire type because the tail isn't lit and it's not fused with any elements. Instinctually it will not leave its mother even when she's just bones. When putting on the mother's skull, the baby is infused with bone, infused with the non living body of its own mother, and as it says in the Bible, " you return to the **ground**, for out of it you were taken; **for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.**”" dust is earth/ground, the baby becomes cubone, infused with ground, infused with it's own dead mother who has returned to dust. It's own bones slightly change shape as a reaction, from the base of its own skull where the reaction occurred, leading to the tail, it restructures the tail and locks the "char" genes and the tail can no longer be lit. A kind of survival trait, if no queen zard survives to light it's tail, the bloodline is no longer fit to rule and the baby instinctually infuses with mom to ensure it cannot become a "char" and propagate it's failure of a bloodline. I like to think if the baby hatches and does not fuse with any element by maturity, it becomes kangaskhan, a normal type. It stays with the parent who protects it in its pouch from the elements until it comes of age (the elemental sensitivity genes become locked with maturity). This bloodline deliberately avoids unlocking the genes and goes to great lengths to remain pure, as to not infringe on or usurp the royal chars, and to not become corrupted by the earth suffering a terrible lonely fate. So, all this is to say, the charmander, cubone, and kangaskhan lines aren't separate, they're literally the same species. Much like the real life queen bee was born identical to any other bee, what unlocks her queen genes is that she's the only bee exposed to what is called "royal jelly". Other bees also have the "queen gene", it's just never unlocked because they don't get the royal jelly. They have a different role to play. So... Perhaps the "char" form is for royalty, the kangaskhan form are the commoners, and the marowak form are lonely outsiders who had nobody to light their fire or protect them from the elements, cursed to be alone, the bonekeeper pokémon takes that form as a last-ditch survival trait when it has no colony to play a role in. That survival trait being a deliberate cutting off of a decimated sub-par bloodline that can only weaken the stronger colonies who aren't failures and dead. It's the survival of the species that matters most.

Isn’t the tail just supposed to indicate health? If a charmander rested by its mother that long and didn’t eat or drink I’d think that the flame would be tiny or almost out- I could be wrong tho.
What would make more sense if charmander also died because he needs the fire on his tail to survive, it’s kinda like his heart or brain, and if his tail goes out, he dead. Or charmander is too depressed to die
I get it now. Cubone is a depressed Charmander. The fire on its tail is about to be unlighted so he have to wear a bone mask to switch a Pokemon species to not die
Cubone and Charmander are two completely different pokemons. This comic is just a lie. Charmander dies if the flame on its tail dies so it can't possibly turn into Cubone (because that's not how evolution in this series works) WHO HAS NO FLAME TAIL and should've already been dead otherwise.
The concept of certain species of pokemon becoming a new species by trauma or events is actually a pretty badass idea. Just like animals today so many theories about the origins so that’d be dope to see Pokémon’s introduced that evolve to certain species with certain criteria met.
It's mother is marowak if you breed a marowak with anything and the marowak is the mother cubone will be born added with the skull in lavender town the ghost of cubones mother is a marowak
Full story: One day charizard was fighting with some trainers, the charizard and her son charmander were wild. As the charizard was fighting it lost, But the trainers ran away as the Charmander dried his best scaring them away. The charizard was weak and hurt, and eventually died, As charmander had nobody to take care of him, His flame started to run out, that charmander was lucky and didn't die once it burnt out, So charmander decided to wear his mother's skull for reminder, And that is how cubine was made❤
Yeah. In the code of rbyg, there's a pre evolution for kangaskhan and a alternative evolution for that prevo. This implies that, at some point, you could catch both the "kangaskid" and a male kanganskhan (thing that was never elaborated, like, how does female kangaskham get a child without a male?)

But if you watch the actual anime, it says if a charmander's flame on its tail goes out. It dies
Poor Cubone😢❤... We love Cubone❤❤😊
This changes a lot
Charmander is like Inoske from demon slayer
The bone keeps him alive because he doesn’t have fire on his tail and he wasn’t trained. That’s why he uses sand attack.
Yeah, if a Charmander loses its tail flame, it dies. So that just means that Cubone is a zombie Charmander. ✌️
Maybe is when there mother
I thought they does not die i remember an episode where charmander tail was not li
@@reemoabenir2906no it does die
Isn’t the tail just supposed to indicate health? If a charmander rested by its mother that long and didn’t eat or drink I’d think that the flame would be tiny or almost out- I could be wrong tho.
@@hunterplayz731somebody gave this guy an A+ score❤
Cubone also not having a flame on its tail makes sense. Because a mother Charizard is supposed to light baby Charmaders tail 💔
What would make more sense if charmander also died because he needs the fire on his tail to survive, it’s kinda like his heart or brain, and if his tail goes out, he dead. Or charmander is too depressed to die
The fire on the tail also indicates the heart of the charmander/cubone. If it lights out then the health is not so well going good.
Poor little charmander...
WHY THEY DO THIS TO MY FAV POKÉMON!?
Blud it's mother is marowak that's how pokemon breeding works in the game whoever the mother is that's the species it's gonna be apart of
😢😢 I love Pokémon ❤️
I get it now. Cubone is a depressed Charmander. The fire on its tail is about to be unlighted so he have to wear a bone mask to switch a Pokemon species to not die
Many say because its flame is gone it dies, but the truth is that only his emotions died and the only thing left is its broken self
❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😰😰😰 save the Charmander

😭😭😭😭😭😭
I'm sad now thanks alot
Waaah😮😢oh poor char mader❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now we remember cubone backstory 😔💔
Cubone and Charmander are two completely different pokemons. This comic is just a lie. Charmander dies if the flame on its tail dies so it can't possibly turn into Cubone (because that's not how evolution in this series works) WHO HAS NO FLAME TAIL and should've already been dead otherwise.
@@iaminsideyourwalls2021you ruined the sad story >:(
We don’t care if the charmander should have d!ed. It’s sad and you just ruined it >:(
@@zacharygreynagal1155 Welcome to reality.
@@zacharygreynagal1155Who cares about the story? It’s tricking people into thinking it’s canon.
Sorry Charmander 😢😢😢
Aw poor Charles the mander 😮😢
Thats why in the games his eyes make him look angry sad stressed
The concept of certain species of pokemon becoming a new species by trauma or events is actually a pretty badass idea. Just like animals today so many theories about the origins so that’d be dope to see Pokémon’s introduced that evolve to certain species with certain criteria met.
The crazy thing is this is actually said in the Pokédex register, dark…
Not the charizard part but yeah you should check grimmsnarls one
It's mother is marowak if you breed a marowak with anything and the marowak is the mother cubone will be born added with the skull in lavender town the ghost of cubones mother is a marowak
"This Pokémon wears skull of it's dead mother"...
I feel so sorry for charmander 😢😢😢😢
Full story:
One day charizard was fighting with some trainers, the charizard and her son charmander were wild. As the charizard was fighting it lost, But the trainers ran away as the Charmander dried his best scaring them away. The charizard was weak and hurt, and eventually died, As charmander had nobody to take care of him, His flame started to run out, that charmander was lucky and didn't die once it burnt out, So charmander decided to wear his mother's skull for reminder, And that is how cubine was made❤
I feel like he is alive because he still has a burning flame inside his soul, his tail got unlit because of how sad and despair'd he was.
Alolan marowak prooves the point a ghost and a fire type
I have that Pokemon I didn't know it was that deep😢😢

Didn’t the theory about Cubone also include that they’re charmanders that couldn’t get their tails lit on fire?
No pick fira but sad
Pero los charmanders si se le apaga el fuego ae mueren¿no?
@@dariorodriguez3335 i think so
charmander without fire on its tail dies

It makes sense cause in season 2 episode 3 in Pokemon journeys we learn about cubone
Thats why it says on the pokedex cubone-lonely pokemon
The Flame of charmander comes from its mother
The ends of his tail*
I still think he's an orphaned Khangaskan, there are way more references, this is just: "it looks like a charmander"
Yeah.
In the code of rbyg, there's a pre evolution for kangaskhan and a alternative evolution for that prevo. This implies that, at some point, you could catch both the "kangaskid" and a male kanganskhan (thing that was never elaborated, like, how does female kangaskham get a child without a male?)
@@suanymejia103 and what? It doesn't mean a pokemon cannot evolve Normally that it has NO way to evolve.
