Thank you so much for making this install video!! This video helped me install the new magnetic impeller pump and fixed my error code E02 on my Bestway/Saluspa Milan Egg Pump. Saved me a ton of money with this instead of buying a new one

I got a impeller kit from an aquarium store. Couldn’t get the exact size as the coleman but it worked. Under $20

I replaced my Saluspa impeller today with your help! I stripped one of the six motor screws, which I resolved with a diamond disc cutter and flathead screwdriver. I had ordered one of the amazon kits with the impeller, extra screws and washers, so I replaced most of the screws anyway. It’s running quieter than ever. Thanks!

Does it matter where you screw the green, black and yellow cables in at ? Do they have to be in a certain order ? I took mine apart and don’t remember how they were in order

Our pump works filling it with air but our jets do not work at all. Is it because the impaler has a broken shaft?
Because I am positive that a impaler is to move water. And to put air in the hot tub a impaler is not needed at all.

My Coleman Saluspa coded E02 (no flow) when the pump stopped because the magnet started rusting, swole up, and locked up in the housing. The plastic shaft is fine. Figures.

If its under 18 months old I'd do a warranty claim on it saluspas website has a claims process that takes a few days to get through but it's pretty straight forward. In this case it should be covered just don't mention you opened it up. You can also buy a whole new egg the entire pump housing element and all on their website 199 I think. I would just go to a pool store and bring the old impeller with me to get one closer to the right size, I don't know the part number I'll see if I can find it soon

@@uncletim6 I ordered a couple "supposed to fit impellers" last night. There's an ebay seller who sold the Danner 290GPH pump impeller for $10 to replace these impellers on the Coleman Saluspa P4071 pumps (120V, 0.7A). After he ran out, he was nice enough to list the impellers he knew that worked. He cited the Active Aqua impeller AAPW400 which is about $4 to $15 depending on where you buy it. My impeller measured ~32mm across pump fins, ~68mm shaft (no caps), and ~10mm diameter of plastic around permanent magnet rotor. I'll update if these parts work. They will not be here until January.
      From his listing:
"UPDATE: I am out of these, but you can find them for $10, just search for for "Active Aqua impeller AAPW400". After testing a dozen or so aftermarket impellers for the SaluSpa water pump, there are two that produce the right flow rate without overheating the water pump:
Active Aqua impeller AAPW400, aka. AquaScape Ultra Pump 400, aka. Atlantic Water Garden FP400
      Danner SP-290 impeller
You can also find the generic one that UK sellers are selling by searching for "70mm filter impeller". But be aware it has a larger 36mm fin diameter that causes the 120V water pump built for the North America market to draw about 40% more power."

since you replaced the pump from different ones. are they the same? have the insides where the impeller sits been chewed up? Mine looks like it wore out the inside and exposed the inside of the filter pump

I had to go to a pool supplier and Match the pump up by taking measurements and the cap does wear from wobbling, placing the bushing inside with a polymer resin worked for me just had to give it time cure

I'd like to speak with someone about my issue with water leaking from the fitting in between the pump and pool. It is the air line and I don't know how to stop. It started right away when I set up a few days ago. I know there is no way I will get anybody at the company to speak with me.

@@russkelley3153 best bet is to take it to a pools or garden supply store and match it up. I'm not sure what the part number is I've repaired the existing ones mosty. I'm pretty certain if you take it to a local store that specializes you can get one matched up , buying them.online is a roll.of the dice
