    It seems strange to me that a brief conflict, taking place tens of thousands of years ago, could have left such a deep impression on the local culture. I know of traumatic events which happened in my town/country mere decades ago, and are already forgotten. So I suspect this war lasted a long time, and ended not too long ago.

    • @mindsight9732

      Oral traditions are weird like that though, and mountain people are 'sheltered'.
      Like do you even know why christmas trees are a thing, thats dub, but it stuck and is similar.
      The tradition isn't too far outside All saints day traditions, yet this is local history, coulkd easily be bronze age, and would be worth a academic look assuming the traditions survived WWs.
      When wouldn't be the only oral tradition of one tribe đefinantly recording going to war to commit genocide as a important event.
      'tribe of red haired cannibal giants burned to death in a cave' over across the pond.

    In Austria we have almost the same tradition as you recall here in the swiss alps. I myself was doing a lot of research in the sasquatch theme and was wondering why out ancestors here made these masks and furs to cover themselfs in these traditions. I often was thinking that they must have seen something similar to reproduce these looks. Awesome that you told us this story. Thank you very much Mr. Peters! Please let me share
    In 2020, i had 3:21 with what most call a Sasquatch, i stood 15ft from its feet, it was at least 4ft taller than me, im just over 6ft tall.
    Imho, it was a Neanderthal, ive seen the skeletons of Neanderthals and asked how old they were when they died, the Tyrell museum curator, explained the skeletons of Neanderthals, are in the stages of development, meaning they were not adults.
    I spoke with the curator, explained what i saw and what had occurred.
    The curator explained, how they had a long femur bone, thought it was for a 2 legged carnivore from the triassic period, then later discovered, it would have been perfectly suited for a full grown adult Neanderthal. I asked where it was and if i could view it, the curator stated, all unaccounted fossils, are taken to Ottawa and stored...
    Canadian Federal Archives...
    Its a Canadian Fort Knox, can see it on google earth..
    So we have unaccounted skeletons, stored in Ottawa, Canada and it isnt public knowledge as i had to inquire and ask the correct questions with perfect timing.

    • @mindsight9732
      @mindsight9732 Před 4 měsíci

      Ya that femur would give bigfoot great adaptation to uneven terrain.
      Neanderthals were nearly a foot bigger then contemporary humans too, even before accounting for the age disparity towards young bones.
      CZcamsr Thinkathunker has an idea, and a limb ratio disparity lines up with patterson footage.
      Lines up with indian perspective too, bigfoot is closer to us then not, effectivly being considered tribes.
      The question then becomes why are goverments so proactive to hide, dismiss, and shelter them.

    • @Inlinetodie
      @Inlinetodie Před 4 měsíci

      @mindsight9732 ...evidence in the forests of BC and AB, take a look, ever wonder why the military corps of engineers, destroyed all the original trees?
      Guess who lived in those giant trees...
      It would take up to a year to fall the original trees of BC and AB, should ask why they destroyed trees, when everything here, was made of Stone, before the 1400s...
      Indians, didn't live in TeePees, until white people, destroyed their stones houses.
      There's literally evidence of stone houses, across Canada, USA and Mexico...funny how everyone forgets, the Pyramids of Alaska and the temples of Canada...
      Can see them on Google Earth anytime 😊

    2) I couldn't help but notice some funny contradictions in the beginning. Could it be that what we were told were Neanderthals are in fact Sasquatch??
    Hammerson there is an interesting custom that the Squamish nation Medicine men take part in that eludes to some of their younger men who go on a 10 year journey to learn the secrets of the land that grow so wild and an8mal like, grow hair where there was. One before, grow in stature, and take on attributes and characteristics that are let’s say not very human like, and that these same men they are sometimes mistaken for the big guy and are often never found. Those that are brought back go through extreme bouts of integration back into culture and society…they call these people, the smaylih! Lots of info, some great articles, worthy of your time and an episode for sure! Cheers for all that you do!

    Your first item may well have substance to it, however, your depiction of the "Celtic Helvetians" you mentioned that first is way off. They wouldn't have looked anything like Protokhoisan people. Celts were a physically robust people, and generally fair-featured. You're stuck in that Darwinian track where ancient humans appear quite simian. Try, try again....

    • @Kenshiroit

      not celts these events descripted if true should happen around 60-40.000 y ago. This precede the celts by far. Its to early even for the Natufians. This is in the middle of the Paleolithic. Hunter gatherers migrating from Africa, cousins of Aboriginal Australians and Negrita tribes in SA

    I’d advise doing more research on the academically-verified history surrounding stories like these and including them in the videos to enhance the informative value of these videos, because you perpetuate a lot of known myths about Neanderthals in these videos entirely unrelated to the story itself that make the whole thing seem less credible. For example, Neanderthals could use tools and probably had language too.

    I couldn't be proud of a job i got because i was the right skin color. What kind of environment would i be working in if they would turn down better qualified people. I dont think it would be great. I also think it infringe on the rights of businesses/cooperations to force them to hire them based on anything but citizenship.
    As for the poc reading this. You can't force your way into a community and expect them to adore you. There's a longer lasting way to become part of a community that dont require you to alienate yourself from the start. The problem is you want the jobs and money but not the culture. That won't fly anywhere in the world. Obsessively differentiating yourself from those people doesn't help breed trust and friendship. If you're constantly reminding me you're different, then i dont want to be around you. Why would i? Obviously, you're racist and that's exactly what you'd call me if i did the same thing. I dont want to hear about how we're different. Let's talk about the things we share in common. You just drive a wedge between you and other people by obsessing on race. Like morgan freeman said. We stop racism by not constantly talking about it. If al you think about is the negatives in life its all youll see. If you look at life through the lense of rafe, everything will look racist.
